This list is of this moment and not years in the past and I also factor in defense a whole lot
1. Kobe Bryant
2. Lebron James
3. Dwyane Wade
4. Chris Paul
5. Dwight Howard
6. Tim Duncan
7. Deron Williams
8. Danny Granger
9. Carmello Anthony
10. Chris Bosh
-
Roy, Pierce, KG, Gasol, Artest, Dirk, Durant and Joe Johnson are in the next tier
-
pretty good list I think you could replace Granger and maybe Deron Williams tho
-
I would definatly put Dirk over Danny Granger in the top 10, prolly a toss up between D-Will and Brandon Roy

I dont know man, Granger is just as good of an offensive player and when it comes to defense it is no comparison. The way Granger played last season is top 5 worthy

well Granger is only 5.1 Rebounds per, meanwhile Bosh is 10+ and Dirk is 8+....I definately consider rebounds into a "defensive" category
-
my list
1a-Lebron
1b-Kobe
3-Wade
4-Howard
5-Paul
6-Roy
7-Durant
8-Duncan
9-Bosh
10-Nowvitzki
close but not quite: Yao Ming, Granger, Al Jeff, Durant williams, Chauncy Billups, Carmelo Anthony, Paul Pierce, Kevin Garnett
Yao gets hurt too much to make my top 10, when he's healthy i think he's BETTER than dwight howard

granger over kevin durant??
any reason?

^i'd take Granger over Durant anyday.
Granger is an elite defender, just a step below Ronnie & i honestly might take Granger on the offensive side of the ball too lol.

Durant is in a league of his own - Granger is a great player sure but he's no K.D.

Yeah exactly. Granger is even with Durant offensively and when it comes to defense it is no contest, just my opinion but Granger is so underrated.
-
any coincidence that Granger is the only player on that list who doesn't make the playoffs year in & year out?
i don't think he is an elite player yet, but in a few years time he will be one of the best players in the league. 8)

hes not a good enough rebounder (yet) to hang with Duncan, Bosh, Dirk and I dont think hes as much of a deadly scoring thread as Durant is....but hes close

Danny is a solid scorer though, he just needs a guy who can average 25-30 points per game & make him a second option & the Pacers can finish 5th in the East.
they need a Dwayne Wade. ;)

haha initially i had dwight instead of yao, but i gess i coulda thrown dwight in there besides bosh (but obviously dwights not gnna be #10)
just never really like him because he just hasnt developed a real good offense

Dwight is hands down top 5.
LeBron & Kobe - 1 & 2 (your preference)
Wade - 3
Dwight & Paul - 4 & 5 (your preference)
that should be the top 5 on everybodies list, just maybe a different order.
