America is a secular republic governed in part democratically by the majority which is Judeo-Christian. America is not run by a religious leader set out to govern with religion as a basis, not even in the hight of the Bush era was this the case, despite what many idiots believe.

but people don't get fined for swearing so you cannot say its very Protestant...
what is Protestant about America...

THERE ARE A LOT OF RELIGIOUS INFLUENCES...
FOR EXAMPLE GOV'T DECIDES WHAT IS MORAL OR WHAT IS NOT...
these ideals come from religious beliefs

exactly, all of the political leaders are influenced by religion in some sort of way.

But with the separation of state and religion was meant that the governments decisions can't be influenced by the bible.
