how do you think it would work out?
start AI or baron davis?
-
a.i they would most likely put as sg n baron as pg. is this really going down tho?

serious talks, but clippers want a straight answer for him about coming off the bench. their startiin davis and gordon.
-
There is no way iverson is going to come of the bench. I guarantee that.

that's the whole reason why it didn't work out in the D lol.
agreed, their is NO WAY he is coming off the bench.
-
i think he should go to the heat though, wade n him would make a good combo. the heat needs another go to guy
-
That would make a lot of sense. He's not going to make a good team any better, and the Clippers would just get him to fill the arena and not for basketball purposes. Great fit.
-
iverson still has serious game and would be awsome in the right system i.e. 4 other C+ defenders surrounding him.

Since when are the Pistons a bad defensive team? Iverson has been overrated all career long
-
who said they were a bad defensive team? you'd make a great journalist lol i was implying that he'd be great with 4 other strictly defensive players who dont require shots i.e. the philly team that made it too the finals

Yeah he would be a better fit on Miami. As much as I like AI I think the clips need to focus more on Gordon.

that's very true...give him a team that consists of lets say Delonte West, Trevor Ariza, Josh Smith, and Samuel Dalambert and he'll be ballinnnnnn

^^ absoloutley
certain players cant adjust there game, like iverson. this is well known but to say he cant play is just completley insane. sometimes its upto the franchise to assemble the team around the player.
-
Somebody who absolutely can't adjust his game should never be mentioned in a all-time greats discussion. That's ridiculous. Stop giving him endless props for that once in a lifetime finals fluke. Any All-Star is ballin' if you put the 4 ideal players of the league around him at each position.
He should just go to the Clippers to put people in their seats. That's all he's good for at this point.
-
^?
one of the top scorers in league history should just be cut off from all talk because he couldn't change his game?
if he had the right supporting cast in Philly and won 2 rings, what you just said wouldn't even have crossed your mind.

any player who averages around 30 points per game can fucking play the game of basketball. no matter how you try to spin it, the media trys to spin it or the arm chair anyalists try to spin it.

they seem like they can be a playoff contender this year with griffin, davis, gordon,

I'm not saying he can't play ... I sure as hell pick him first when I have a pick-up game with my peeps and he's joining us.
What I'm saying is, that he can't put an already good team over the hump. And it's not worth building anything around him, cause he's old. What is he really good for? Putting people in seats. He's an icon - more so than a difference maker on the court at this point. So Clippers it is. No GM of a good, well-balanced team with a future would be foolish enough to put AI on his team. Mark it. And if one is, it will go down as a failure.
-
itd be a GREAT fit for both sides

I hope they finally make it to become contenders. They deserve it. I doubt it though.

should of been a playoff contender last season, even without the late trade that got em zach randolph, clippers been having a talented team, just no chemistry
