About Chelle I got my start while partying wildly with my cousin in clubs across London such as Opera House, Mud Club, Limelight, Africa Centre (Soul II Soul), and the notorious, Wag Club. It was at The Wag Club where Wunmi (lead Soul II Soul dancer) spotted me, and took me under her wing to perform at fashion exhibitions. Later, I was selected to be a Sister Under the Sun dancer with PM Dawn, during their European tour promoting their Billboard smash hit single, Set A Drift of Memory Bliss. I later moved onto performing with many Hip-Hop and R&B artists across England.Through personal friends, fashion designer Donovan Pascal (Religion) and Mark Herman, I modelled their clothing at clubs such as Hanover Grand and Ministry of Sound. (You can see me wearing Religion clothing in my photo gallery). Through dancing, I grew to love the stage and being around such diverse artist unleashed my talent in singing and song writing. I kind of fell into song writing, and during the mid-90s moved to New York for 6 months to work on a demo with producer Mark Unthank (Crystal Waters, Black Girl, and Reese), and also worked with Done and Soliheen. Mark Unthank and I worked on three songs together where the track Borrowed Times stood out. Within a few months, my demo ended up in the hands of Tupac Shakur, who three days later, flew me out to Los Angeles to be signed to his Makeveli label. He was drawn ironically to my song Borrowed Times. Tragically, six months later he was murdered. Devastating as it was, I continued my pursuit in music for a few years after his death, with a few offers from UK producers. However, nothing really materialised, for whatever reasons. You could somewhat call those years, as my years on hiatus to pursue other personal goals--I had my son and completed my Bachelors of Arts in Arts Management. Check out (www.breakinconvention.com) If you've never been to Breakin Convention, you have to check it out this year. May 5-7 Sadlers Wells London. Its now time for me to do one of the things I was born to do. This is all exciting to start over again. Its going to be a wonderful ride; looking forward to you joining me on this journey. Love Chelle

The beat sounds like a Johnny 'J' production and Chelle has a nice voice - I remember her from Remembering Makaveli Vol. 3 where she sing parts from "Borrowed Times" but overall that song was overrated as hell! Everybody expected a verse from 'Pac and he's just talking a couple words in the background... a disappointment.
