Post by: meecca on July 23, 2009, 11:44:55 AM
'Sup. I've been tripping big time by not listening to wu tang until now (stemmed from my past when I was 14years old, one dude I hated liked wu tang so I deciced to boycott them lol - how stupid can you be as a kid). Anyhow I've been upping my game these days and DAAAMN I like their shit! Can y'all name your favourite wu-tang albums, group and solo efforts alike so I can peep more of their shit out.

I've bought:

Wu-Tang Clan - Enter the Wu-Tang (36 chambers)
Method Man - Tical
Method Man/Redman - Blackout 1 & 2

What would you recommend next?

you have to get "Wu-Tang Forever" the double disc, that shit is classic, along with "Liquid Swords", "Only Built for Cuban Links" and "IronMan"....even the old Cappadonna "Pillage" disc was dope.  I would say all there shit up to 2000 was pretty hot, but havnt checked for as much of there shit lately.

You need to check out "Wu-Tang Forever", it's a muthafuckin' classic. I consider it to be the best Wu album.

^ Yeah I actually liked Forever more than 36 Chambers, both classics though. My other favorite albums are Tical, Liquid Swords, and Cuban Linx.

Immobilarity is a great album, IMO. Only problem was that it followed OBFCL, lol. Also, I'd stray away from U-God's albums (except for Goldenarms and Dopium). Same w/ Cappadonna (except for The Pillage and Slang Prostitution).
