He flowed well, had conviction in his voice, didn't name drop, and painted a picture. Plus, he revealed honesty about his character. It was good for Game.

I'm convinced that Game fans on dubcnn are ignorant to real lyricism and you can say what you want but that shit was garbage. I have no respect of person when it comes to Hip Hop neither 'cause if it's dope then that's what it is but if it's not then that's what it do, too!

This isn't a thread about comparing Game's lyrics to other MC's. It's Game vs. Game. Not Game vs. (insert any better lyrical rapper). It's about quality lyrics from Game.
What's so hard to understand?
Besides when you discuss lyrics it all depends on perspective. You can look at the syllables, the word usage, concept, the flow in comparison to the beat, the vocal emotion, literary techniques (metaphors, similes, etc).
If you want to create a thread talking about Game's lyrics versus everybody else, fine. Do it! Go ahead! This is just about Game's.

This was always my favorite game track and this verse in particular was dope. I enjoyed a couple joints off the album:
Game's Pain
Ya Dig
Letter to the King (though I can't stand the name dropping on this track...rihanna's umbrella? guess it makes more sense now she got beat, plus it had the horrible bar about how nigga sound nothing like nigger, like game like jigga. wtf? someone needs a hearing aid)
Angel (mainly for Common's verse and the beat, Game came cliche on that joint)
I thought the leftovers were mostly wack besides Spanglish.
What the fuck was with the DMX into/outro and the random Hard Liquor interlude? The concept of the album was horribly executed. Conceptually, a track like Baggage Claims would have made more sense as one of the first tracks.
I got to agree that album was more or less garbage. His beats have gotten worse since the Documentary but he picked up his lyrics on Doctor's Advocate but fell off on both with LAX.

Everyone knows Aftermath has a team of ghost writers. I mean that's how Bishop Lamont started off over there but to what extent they write for anyone other than Doc Dre I don't know. 50 had someone ghost write for him on The Get Rich or Dieing film and soundtrack but for what tracks I don't know.
Another track that would've been dope on LAX was 1-800 Homicide off Hi-Tek's Hi-teknology 2. Imagine if LAX was opened with that track. Shit would've been so damn dope.
