Title: Appreciating KRS-One as a producer...
Post by: eazye on July 29, 2009, 02:57:03 PM
So, besides the production he did on BDP albums, he's done tons of work as a producer and I feel people don't really recognise how skilled he's at it

Hellz yeah.

I love this beat right here. It was done with Schoolly D, but, man. HEAT. In my opinion. I don't know.

Don't really like him as an MC (I know I know), but gotta love his boom bap ny sound, it's timeless.

Living A Lie joint is great. If I recall correctly the album also had some great features, I'll search the forum, hoping Chad didn't send you the link on a PM lol

I'm not really fond of him as an MC too.Pretty big fan of his BDP stuff, but there are only a handful of songs when he went solo that I enjoy.
