I was a big fan of so many films this guy wrote. He hadn't done anything worth writing home about in years, but the stuff he did in the 80s in 90s is incredible.
Most don't realize just how many of those classics from that era he wrote;
Mr Mom, 16 candles, Breakfast Club, Pretty in Pink, Ferris Bueler, Weird Science, National Lapoon's Vacation series, Planes Trains and Automobiles, Uncle Buck, Dutch, Great Outdoors, and Home Alone.
He directed most of these titles as well.

Fa sho he got some classics under his belt, RIP

Wow, are you sure man? That's fucked up, the man was a brilliant director and writer.
The sad part of it all is, his absence will go unnoticed.

RIP to a legend

sunsets directed by the hand of God
a beautiful angel has died
wonder to the east of him
angels arrive on awhim
God takes the body
takes a writer back home
he writes all day now
he writes poems for God
Tears fall like rivers there
for a writer that is not here
but sunsets wakes the soul
to find a God that is now here
So if you want to know him
look at the gentle sunset
his souls at rest there
God his soul at rest............
