at a company called Resolve (http://www.resolve.com)...wish me luck dudes.
on a side-note, I just realized it says "Tha G-Spot" and not "The" G-Spot" lol.
-
good luck man.
-
May the piff be with you, no need for luck...
-
Good luck man. Just be cool, and make sure you know some facts about the company - if they are publicly held u can research their profitability and what not. But even if not, it'd be good to know some things it that u can prolly find on that site. And try to integrate some of that stuff into questions to show them u take this serious.
And always go in with some questions to ask them, especially if you can find some perceived negatives. Kinda turn the table on them, put em on the defensive a bit. OF COURSE do it in the proper manner. I did that in my last interview and before u know it I had the upper hand in the convo. Then again, it was a broad I was interviewing with so she might have been intimidated anyways.
Well that's my .02. Peace.

thanks guys, +1.
and thanks for the advice Jrome; I'm going through the website right now. They seem very similar to a Consulting firm, so I've got quite a few questions already popping into my head.
I'm going to see if I can find any info on their financials and who their clients are.
-
Lol. But good luck Mo, best of honest luck!!

why do companies check on your credit history? lol
-
gratz my dude, hope you get that!
-
why do companies check on your credit history? lol
beats me lol; I'm guessing this company did it because they overlook all credit card applications lol :P
-
Congrats sounds like its all but official. Good to see that there are some winners around here.
-
they check your credit because there's a notion in business psychology human resource sector that says/thinks that the way you handle your personal finances is a good indicator of how you'll contribute toward the company. I had to write a fuckin' 12 page report about that shit in a class once.
but they do it at a lot of major jobs and all federal government agencies.
how much are you startin' out at?

well, i can understand why theyre checking dizzle's history, since they process credit applications, but in this economy i think its safe to say that a lot of peoples credit is fucked and shouldnt reflect your work habits.
take my homie for example, he has been unemployed for over 4 months, and yeah his unemployment helps him pay some of his bills, but one month he will fall behind on his phone bill, the next month he will fall behind on his mastercard bill, etc. he eventually pays em, including the late fees, but that still fucks up your credit and has nothing to do with his work ethic.

lol unfortunately i won't be able to yet :P I'll figure out a way lol.
as for training day 1: looked at what the company does in general; then we focused on what department and the separate divisions there are and their roles; and then what our role would be in the company.
from there, looked at the different types of forms.
and a bunch pf privacy stuff, how we have to provide customer service, etc.

Sounds like fun....I guess lol.
I always hate the first couple days of anything.
-
yeah, its gonna be 9 days of training and then the position starts.
this position is more-so a stepping stool for me; it'll look good on resume because of the company name and tasks, so hopefully that can get me something better...but I'll stick with this in the meantime lol.
