Y'all already know his discography is amazing, so I won't go deep into this one
My least favorite albums are Under The Influence and Way 2 Fonky.I just don't feel them as much as I do the others
Previous listenings to his albums left me with the impression that I enjoyed Rhythmalism, Safe & Sound and Quik Is The Name the most. And although I still do, I gotta say that I really really enjoy Balance And Options and Trauma quite a lot more. Those albums just bump for me from front to back without me skipping a track.I know most of the people on the board favor Rhythmalism over his other stuff, but for me, B&O and Trauma are much much more enjoyable (not saying they're better albums).
All in all, Quik is an amazing artist.Period.

Just did the same a few weeks back, Quik is definitely a legend.
He's always coming with a modern type of music through all these years and to me he's always relevent as a producer and as a rapper.

Safe and Sound is definately my favourite. The G-funk on there is Easily one of the best to come out of the G-funk era.
Rhythmalism and Balance & Options are also two of my favourites although its hard to choose between the two albums they both have highs and lows.
Trauma then comes third
Quik is the name & Way 2 Fonky tied for fourth. These albums are oldschool and showed how Quiks production has evolved greatly. Still like these albums alot though
And my least favourite is Under the influence.

Safe + Sound (in the summertime it gets even better), Rhythm-al-ism and Balance & Options to me are his three classics like for 'Pac MATW, AEOM and Makaveli.
Quik Is The Name is a classic too, it has some of his biggets hits ever but over all is not as good as the other three.
Trauma is probably one of the best album done in the 2000's.
Way 2 Fonky is aight but he didn't improve from Quik Is The Name, Under The Influence is the weakest but still good, BlaQKout it's ok but it has some of the most horrible tracks Quik has ever done.

Best discovery in hip hop

discovering rhythamalism under the influence of marajuana for the first time was a near religious experience 8)

no doubt one of the best discographies in hip hop

Quik is one of the few producers that I actually like to hear rap.

One of these days I'm gonna put my favorite songs of Rhythmalism and B&O and see if I can fit them on one disc. Those albums are both pretty amazing but also have a couple fillers and skits I could do without.

When I first heard Quik on QItN, I thought "is this Eazy-E?", but later then I could recognize the difference between the two's voice.
My top 3 Quik albums are Safe & Sound, Quik Is the Name, and Rhythm-al-ism.
Balance & Options isn't bad really, some of those songs I could imagine bein played on the radio.
Under tha Influence and Trauma were okay. I liked BlaQKout, it was pretty good to me.
