I noticed that his voice and flow was kinda different from his older stuff. But my boy told me that when 50 Cent got shot, they hit em in the jaw, and that's why he talks like that, that lazy flow. Regardless he's dope!!
He has a song called FUCK YOU where he says...

I didn't like 50 back in '99 when his flow resembled Jay-Z. It seems that after he got shot his words now slur and he emphasizes the end of his words which makes his flow original now. I'll probably cop his new album since his production is going to be banannas. "Wankster" is an ill track.

lol I like the part in "How To Rob" when he's talking about Robbing Timbabland and Missy and He goes, "You Gimme the Cash, You Put The Hot Dog Down", lol that line always cracks me up.
I also always catch myself shouting "G-Unit!" all the time out of nowhere. lol.

6 months ago, when I was starting a few 50 Cent-threads, I got 0 replies and at the most 5 views.
Now that Em signed him, everybody turns their attention to him.
But it's natural though, since this a very Westcoast-biased board, and ppl on this board WAS pretty critical to him right after Em signed him.
I see what you saying though Nima, that mumbling/talking through his nose-voice gets addictive pretty fast.
And he's nice with words too.

That's the exact word for 50 Cent...addicting. That song "Wanksta" is the most addicting song out right now. I'd only heard 50 Cent once or twice, and I thought he was decent at best. But since I bought the 8 Mile Soundtrack last night, my opinions on him completely changed, and now I can't wait to buy his album. Straight Dre/Eminem/Timbaland production, with some Rakim, Cube, and Eminem thrown in on the guest appearances.

* Partly speaking through his nose
* Trying to keep his jaws together while rapping, kinda like when you're angry, you press your under-jaw & upper-jaw together.
^^ Try to do those above while rapping along to 50's verses, that's the only way you can imitate him..
