That's right everyone, we are back with a much anticipated update regarding a former member of Death Row Records. We have recently learned that Eastwood is gearing up to release his upcoming mixtape titled Heart Of Da West Vol. 1 with DJ Wiz Kid. Not only does the mixtape feature an all-star cast of features, but none-other-than Crooked I will appear on the project as well. Fans have always been blown away by the duo's chemistry on the microphone and have labeled collaborations such as We Ballin' as classic records. This is certainly an anticipated appearance as it will be a great look for both Eastwood and Crooked I. Other artists who are set to appear on the project include Ice Cube, Too Short, The Game, Lil Wayne, Drake, Hustle Boyz, Lady G and several upcoming artists from Eastwood's Self Made (SMG) camp. Interestingly enough, there is also an appearance from the late Lisa "Left Eye" Lopes on the project. As everyone is aware, Eastwood and Left Eye (N.I.N.A.) were label mates on the former Tha Row Records several years ago before her untimely death. Die hard fans of Death Row Records will surely want to get their hands on this gem when it is officially released to the public. Additionally, we have learned that Eastwood has recently signed a distribution deal with the Universal Music Group. This is definitely great news as it could lead to the release of an official solo debut project from Eastwood in the near future. Although Eastwood has been quiet during the last few months, fans can expect an explosion of new music to come out of the Self Made camp. If you are interested in learning more about Eastwood and his music, please visit his official MySpace page. In the mean time, please keep it locked to The B.O.S.S. Board for additional information regarding this highly anticipated release.

I Get Money (feat.Ya Boy)
We Ballin (feat. Knucklehead)
West Really (feat. The Game & Jay Rock)

Believe it or not these still get regular rotation in my play list...

East got classics though, people just don't realize it because all his work is so spread out. I guarantee you could take all his best post-Death Row tracks and make a solid debut project.
