Are they gonna discontinue the original PS3 look? I like the design on the original PS3 better, but that shit was too monstrous. I think making it smaller (not to mention cheaper) was the right move.

i wouldnt want to buy the fist version, as it will have many bugs and problems (as with the first version of anything, cars, etc)

i can afford 9 bucks a month compared to dropping 50 straight up. doesn't matter though, i haven't paid for xbox live in over a year

no they're not, the original launch 60GB have loads of problems, they get YLOD and the red flashing light, its the new 80GBs which are fine, trust me i've been through 3 60GBs and know atleast a dozen people who are on atleast their 2nd 60GB, and to make it even more fucked up it now costs £145 to get a refurbished with a 3 month warranty which is bollocks >:(

lol 1st time Blu-Ray drive stopped reading disks, 2nd one broke within 3 months with YLOD and then my 3rd recently died thru the red flashing light bollocks :(
I know 360s have/had bigger issues but they're not as bad as they once were and atleast theres a 3 year warranty for RROD unlike Sony charging you £145 for a refurbished with a rip-off 3 month warranty :-X

xbox 360 for life.. ps3's online is so shitty it doesnt even compare.. yeah you pay for xbox live but you dont even need a cable box or jumping in the ride and hitting the video store in the neighborhood anymore ever since that partnership with netflix where you can just watch a live stream on your t.v. HD or not. not just movies but also t.v. shows.. music videos.. on demand

I already have Netflix, so I already don't need to drive to the local video store. Usually the live stream has bad movies, and the movies that are there that are good I've most likely seen them. Can this be done on the 360? Recently Fat Princess came out, and it was 15 dollars. Now you can get four of your friends to all chip in and buy the game. With one purchase, that game can be in 5 systems.

yea but the online is so shitty with the horrible lag.. its impossible to play fighting games on it because of it. when you pay 50$ a year, your paying for the servers...

^^ nah any regular 360 will do, i still have the o.g. 1 that first came out.
it'll let you pair up with people in your region, or you can choose which game u want to enter and look at the connection rate

1/3 of Xbox's don't get it & even if you do they fix it for free, unless it's after 3 years; then it's your own problem.
my friend always bitches about the online lag for the PS3, i didn't know it was real bad though.

Yeah, lag is pretty bad on most games online. Gave up on MGS4 because of that. MGS3 Online was the shit! :'( Resistance 1 & 2 is pretty much lag free, unless you have multiple things connected to the net.

I have never had lag while online with a PS3 and I've played COD4 online. And we all know how popular that game was and still is.
Oh and I don't like the new design. Who cares if its smaller, its not gonna make me go out and buy one.

Just got one yesterday, so far so good.
Way better online play than the fat model. Madden doesnt lag according to my brother and UFC has been goin smooth for the past few matches.
