Brett Favre told ESPN before the Minnesota Vikings' game on Monday that he suspects he may have a cracked rib. Favre hasn't had an official diagnosis, but he says taking a deep breath causes discomfort. The 39-year-old quarterback wasn't listed on the injury report and no other other Vikings official mentioned the injury pregame.
he's playing tonight so it can't be that serious, but it's something to keep your eye on as the season progresses.
as long as he doesn't use it as an excuse if he blows, i'm good. :P

i doubt it's the end, but notice that he (Brett Farve) said that he thinks he has cracked ribs.
i have a feelin' he's trying to drop excuses before the season starts.
