He didn't come up with that concept until after jail though.

When he first signed to Death Row, he was going to re-create a lot of his unreleased "pre-death row" tracks, and make his album a more modern day feel. Some of these songs have been leaked, others have not. He re-done the songs such as Dear Mama (which explains why Death Row have used this song in their audio/TV products) When I Get Free and others... The album on Death Row was to be called "R U Still Down"

Who told you that? R U Still Down was one of the names tossed around for Me Against The World and Dear Mama was not redone on Death Row. Dear Mama was not used on anything Death Row except for the GH album which also had I Get Around RMX and Me Against The World. Suge was in the works on re-releasing Pac's old catalogue and selling Pac merchandise under Death Row before Afeni sued him.

Euphanasia was the first title of All Eyez On Me. The only songs Pac ever "redid" was When I Get Free and Life's So Hard. Got to stop listening to people who speculate or make up stuff that has no real substance.

It was re-done. His Resurrection & Legacy books don't cover everything!

i don't know what that niggas talkin about

but i thought R U STILL DOWN was the title of his 3rd death row album according to papers, i think from that 2pac legacy book

either way it doesn't matter because the R U STILL DOWN that did come out was in my opinion a better overall album than All Eyez On Me!

classics like "when i get free 1 and 2", "Fake ass bitches"  "only fear of death"  "do 4 love"  "hellrazor"   "definition of a thug nigga"  "i wonder if heaven got a ghetto" "lie to kick it" etc.

thats one of my fav cds ever

A lot of these younger Pac fans believe anything and there's a lot of bullshit out there. I guess in some ways the bootleggers still won..

I think your misinterpreting what I was saying. He/Death Row did re-do the song while he was alive on the label. Vocally maybe not, but either way, it was re-done. Perhaps not in the same sense as others.

Me myself re-read the original thread wrong, and tracks re-done, remixed, re-shuffled, edited etc. were scheduled for an early Death Row project, some I am told even before 2Pac had even hit the studios, that Death Row owned the rights to a good few 2Pac tracks before he signed...

None of the information is in regards to the additional material cut from the Me Against The World Album
