i think he'll do better then tom brady and payton manning this season (TDs & yards)
if he can keep it up saints would b in a good position to go to the playoffs

i don't know how much sense this will make, but Brees just puts up the stats.
there was no need to keep the pass on in that game; plus it was against the mighty 0-16 Lions lol.

All they needed to do was draft OL & nothing but defense in the whole draft but didn't listen :D I guess the bunch of fans who finally called it quits with etroit have made the right call so far ;D I wonder why the Retardgers don't have good qb's like Drew Brees :D oh that's right...they used him as the scapegoat for all their front office & personnel blunders.

He obviously doesn't suck but his stat boost is a direct result of the new system he's in. He had great talent around in SD but never got those kinds of numbers. Any QBs numbers (stats or wins) depened heavily on the team they play on. I don't watch stats or wins. I watch the QBs play ball and decide for myself. He's good, always was, but when he was on SD there was a better QB on the bench but the world will never recognize that.

I was talking about BRees and his system. The QB on the bench was Flutie. Who never had the solid stats but made plays when it counted. I still think my Bills would have won it all that year they started Johnson instead of Dougie in the playoffs if they just let Flutie play.
I'm not sold on River personally. All I see is he can play well in a shit division or against the Colts shitty D-line. When Brees was starting in SD the Broncos and Chiefs were still solid teams. Neither team has been very good at all since Rivers became the starter. They had that one huge year on that back of LT and that defense but Rivers was nothing special.

They would have beaten the Titans for sure, and they would have been able to score on Idy's crappy D and be able to rattle a sophomore Peyton Manning. Basically, they were a better team with Flutie than the Titans were. I don't care about the win/loss that year, and the inferior Titans of that year were one play away from beating the Rams. So there's no reason to doubt the Bills could have done it, since they outplayed the Titans in the playoffs with the inept Rob Johnson.
You are right about it being a nice story though. Flutie would have had a movie made about him if they did win.

Flutie was great I dont know why but it seems like any player coming from the cfl just gets no respect in the nfl.Garcia is a pro bowl quarter back and it seemed like every year he had tu audition for a starting job.Flutie didnt get his fair chance in the nfl at all.

They had a better offense than the Titans and their D was just as good. What Flutie gave you that McNair did not was the ability to make big plays under chaos. I'm just saying, it was very possible, considering the Titans were a foot away from winning.
