I could be made to look quite foolish here but i think Utd will bring City down to earth with a bump today, i've got a feeling it's gona be 3 - 0 Utd.

And i really, REALLY hope Spurs do Chelski as well.

This derby, maybe for the first time ever, will be interesting. Even if United still a better team
And i REALLY hope the same for the Spurs  ;D

Should be a United win

1) Man United is the better team
2) Lots of key Man City wont play

The game kicks off at 12.30pm GMT - hardly "evening".

Man City have Adebayor, Ireland, Kompany, Santa Cruz, Tevez, Benjani, Johnson & Robinho missing.

For me the sting has been taken out this very exciting tie.

2-0 United.

^^^^ yep plus big names do not instantly translate in a great team ... Man Unity has a long way too go before being up there with the likes of United and Chelsea ...

True, I think this one woulda been a cracker tho. You can best believe if City didn't have £100M+ worth of striking power missing they wouldn't be 5/1 for the win today.

Need to wait for the big one at Eastlands.

What.A.Game.

After some abject performances from my team lately, that game restored my faith in the game of Football.

Bellamy was superb, Giggs was majestic but the star for me was Fletcher. IMO, for Utd anyway, this boy is world class.

Fletcher is far from being a world class...

Fletcher is far from being a world class...

In your opinion.

In mine, for his position, he is top 5 in the world. Knows his job and does it superbly.

Yeah yeah, it's very hard to imagine Fletcher in the top 5 or 10 or whatever, he's not the skillful midfield playmaker or the silky winger....but he is the most important player in the midifield right now for United, like he said, he does his job superbly...excellent player...you have to watch the games to understand....

Ah yes of course, the one against the Rangers, nice finish...the best one was the volley from the corner or the shot with left foot that went of the post or somethin...

For sure, no Scottish bies here if he was from Uganda i would feel the exact same. Outside of Rooney he is Utd's most important player (Again, in my opinion of course). The proof was the Champions League final where Utd desperately missed someone to run, close down players, tackle and play the simple pass. Which Flethcer does superbly.

Who would you rather have Antonio? Sissoko?

I'm not saying Fletcher is one of the top 5 players in the world, i'm saying in his position and out of the players that do his job, he is in the top 5.

Man Utd's Makelele, or dare i say it, their new Roy Keane?

Fletcher has come on dramatically and has done the job hargreaves should be doing, in that he wins the ball and uses it well.

It shows how far he has come that both him and anderson were selected over carrick and bossed the second half even though city had an extra man in midfield.

He doesnt get the praise he deserves as he does the simple stuff, there is nothing flash about his game.
