lol Its boxing...not rock em sock em robots. Its a sport. The idea of the SPORT is to hit, and not be hit. Not just stand in front of eachother like idiots and swing. Anybody retard can do that. I can guarantee you, if Marquez had the ability to keep Floyd from hitting him, while he hit Floyd....he would have done that instead of getting completely dominated lol The only "boxers" who chose to just stand toe to toe and slug are typically "boxers" who dont have the skill to actually box.

He's probably the most skilled defensive fighter the sports ever seen. Maybe only Pernell Whitaker was better defensively. Im a bigger fan of Mosley and Pacquiao, but Mayweather has just been unbeatable throughout his career. I dont see why some people cant understand the sport of boxing. ANY trainer would tell his fighter to stick and move if his fighter has the quickness and feet to do it. Some fighters are just flat footed and dont move well, so theyre forced to resort to just slugging it out and hoping they land the good shot. That can be exciting to watch from a fans persepective, but its not good boxing. Bottom line, if his style was so weak...he would have lost by now. All these fighters who a lot you think are real fighters, cant do shit against him. They fight in a ring for a reason. A smart fighter will try to cut the ring off, not just follow him around and get peppered with punches everytime the get close, and counter punches everytime they miss lol. Its funny sometimes to watch some of these guys look like molasses in the ring next to Floyd.

One of the few underrated things about Mayweather is that he's actually an amazing inside boxer. He's shown it before with certain opponents. So lately I've gotten stuck defending Mayweather over and over that he simply doesn't just punch and run away. In fact he stays there, in front of his opponent and avoids punches.
One of the things that has bugged me though is that people think that Mayweather has been choosing to fight smaller boxers his entire career, simply based on this JMM fight and the potential Pacman fight. People seem to forget that Mayweather has been putting in work for years moving up in weight, fighter boxers that are naturally bigger than him. And on fight night, boxers that have a +6-10 lb advantage. Yet, he still can't be touched.

Cotto took some hard ass punches from Mosley and only cement hands has giving him his only L lol. So it will be interesting to see if how powerful Pacquiao is at that weight vs a WW like Cotto. This is a good fight to have money on Cotto though.

Yeah, Mosely has a ton of power and fast hands. The only thing with Manny is he's far more relentless then Mosley. Cotto has shown that he can be hit and he doesnt always start fast...where Manny tends to start very fast. Cotto will have to be careful not to get too far behind early and will definetely need to work the body. Manny seems like he could fight for 20 rounds at the same speed and energy level.
