Personally, i've been getting worried with how Snoop and Nate are collaborating with a lot of east coast artists and producers at the moment and I'm hoping that this doesn't continue on the 213 album. For me this would be the perfect setup for the album:
Producer:
Warren G - he produces almost all of his own albums, plus he did the whole Twinz album back in 1995. He is the only one who is going to bring the style of beats that this album needs, whereas people like the Neptunes are just going to fuck the album up. I wouldn't mind seeing Soopafly do some production as well, although I would like 90% Warren.
Guest Apperances:
I think that they should keep it to g-funk artists, no east coast or anything. These would be cool:
- The Twinz
- The Dove Shack
- 5 Footaz
- Mista Grimm
- Soopafly
If they make this a g-funk experience then for me, this album will probably go down as one of my favourite ever albums. My fear is that they will get people like the Neptunes and co in on this project and spoil it. If this is made as a strictly G-Funk record then I think that this album could pave the way for G-Funk to once again be at the top of the rap game, and could wake up the masses to the west coast again.
What do you all want from this album?
