Anyone catch the first episode of this new series? I REALLY enjoyed it. Same creator as LOST and it reminds me of it. Looked really fucking good though. Anyone see it?

same creator as lost? it was created/written/produced by david s. goyer (who did the blade movies). the only thing it has in common with lost is that 2 actors from lost (penny, charlie) appear on it
but it was a pretty good show. you can tell ABC are trying to capture the lost crowd with it.

The CGI get a 5 stars from me, the story itself is not bad only thing is the casting, there are a few heads i don't like already but i wish this series the best.
There are so many good series currently it's crazy: Dexter s4, Californication s3, Sons of Anarchy s2, Stargate Universe s1 (I wasn't totally pleased by the latter though)

The CGI get a 5 stars from me, the story itself is not bad only thing is the casting, there are a few heads i don't like already but i wish this series the best.

just downloaded the first episode today and watched it and thought it was great. so no one from lost has anything to do with this? because theres definatley strong ements in the production that scream lost. what epsiode is it upto in america? yeah what the hell was with the kangaroo? maybe it escaped from somewhwere? and has been plaed there as a red herring?

I thought it did but The Watcher says no and he knows his shit so I trust his word ;)

people from LOST are showing up because it's the same network (ABC) that airs lost
alot of these people appearing are being used cause they're contracted to ABC for a few years i'd guess. add that up with the whole mystery thing and since lost is ending, why not make something nearly the same?

wow. i thought i was watching an episode of grey's anatomy for some reason
they need to pickup this story pretty quick, its becoming really cliche'd and will get tired quick
typical episode: first 5 mins is something to do with the ending of the previous, 30-35 minutes of absolutely fuck all, big shock at the end

yup, although they may have used this episode to tone it down a bit.Either way I'm sure next few episodes are going to be far more intense

A lot of cool twists in the episode tonight. Stan fucking with the President and saving the funding was awesome; I thought he was at the Pres' office to accept the Homeland Security job after Mark failed on the stand. That was a cool twist.

yeah man, it was a decent episode... i was kinda hoping it would go more into how it ended in ep 3 where we find out that the dad and the "d giggons" were init together to create the black out.. but im guessing this wont happen to alot futher down the line.
+ yeah the tower buildings in somalia was an interesting approach.. only downside to it was the corny shoot out scene in the carpark, wood have been better without the music being played over it.. so are we thinking that it was the President that arranged the ambush after stan pulled the blackmail card out on him?

Another awesome episode. The "blue hand" mystery was awesome. Shows that the flash forwards are becoming more and more likely; bad news for Dimitri lol. And that black guy seemed weird with his flash forward too.
The scene with Lloyd, Olivia and Mark was awesome. Mark was ready to bang on him lol. Here we see the downfall of Mark & Olivia's future, also making the flash forwards more likely.
Simon is a fuckin' awesome character, just as I expected. When he was telling that fine blonde dime about his flash forward killing a man and she looked all scared and he goes "aren't u glad u asked?" that shit was awesome lol. And then in the back seat of Lloyd's car; he's gonna' be an awesome character.

enjoying it so far, as for Mark & Olivia's future, Mark is pushing her away and that may cause her to sleep with whatshisface, if he was smart he'd chill the fuck out a bit and he could change that. As for Demetri, im a bit sus on him either he had a flashforward and is lying about it, or he has something to do with the blackout. And simon is the shit, i was telling a girl about the double slit experiment a few months ago, but i didn't end up sleeping with her.....only in the movies lol, who'd ever thought quantum physics could get a broad horny

Fucking insane :o DID NOT SEE THAT COMING. Al was an awesome character but that was a very cool twist; like a mind fuck LOL. Will be interesting to see what's up with the sponsor guy.
How funny would it have been if Al jumped, landed on Celia walking by who broke his fall and that's how he kills her :P
The whole "blue hand" stuff was really cool 2.

I liked how Ingrid didn't see herself as a blond and moving to NY but that's what's gonna happen with her now being put in witness protection. More Simon which was cool. Dying to know how exactly they caused the blackout; experiment gone wrong. He's a cool character.

watched the first 8 episodes this weekend...i was planning on spreading em out during the week, but that shit just sucked me in.
i dont see how they can keep this show going though..eventually it needs to come to an end, just like lost.

yeah it was a good episode.. i thought it was pretty obvious tho bout the tattoo guy.. but yeah the simon character seems pretty cool, got that smart swagger about him, be interesting to see what theyre work involves and who for.. + isit definatley that simon who's drowning Nicole in her flash forward? & the ending with the rings was different, wonder what they mean..

if guy who where responsible for that event - blackout - lloyd and other guy had visions as well, how the fuck other people where available not to passed out ad be awaken? who are they some super humans :o :o it if they where doin experiment they were prepared that somethin may happened so the other people has no right to be awaken imo ;)
and btw i just finished reading book and show is very weak compare to it

I tried watching the first episode(at least I think it was LOL) and I guess maybe I was kinda distracted but I just wasn't able to get into this show. If it's alot like LOST then maybe that's why because I never liked LOST. I'm going to try and download some episodes from this show and see if I can force myself to watch it and see if I can get into it. Sounds kinda interesting but I don't know..

yeah that came right out of the blue, i never would havent suspected her.. but that does make her one bad ass female, fuck having to take a bullet to the stomach to cover your tracks :-X

I've watched like the first 5-6 episodes of fringe and am now on a long break from it, but I hear it's getting awesome in season 2..
flashforward has really grown on me, and i would really like to see it continue, but think it's gonna be cancelled after this season.. :/

Yeah yeah, I know what you mean.. I feel the same way with lost, but at least fringe got renewed for a season 3, so it's coming back.. :)
