"G-Funk Classics" is a tight album, i was bumpin' it earlier today. I think it should have been only 1 CD though, but which CD do you like more?

Hmm I have the Death Row one disc version and this has some sweet tracks. The second disc version has Just Another Day which is an awesome track. I would have to go with the single disc version cos of classics like These Days, My Money, If This Were My World etc. Oh and of course Dirty Hoes Draws and Bag O' Weed

Disc 1 destroys Disc 2, easily.  I remember being so happy when this finally dropped because Death Row shelved Nate's album at the last second.

The first disc, although like hobomotel stated - the 2nd disc has the track 'Just Another Day'.. Slept on album, and one I myself am guilty for forgetting about. I can remember this being the first cause to collect rather than buy. Anyone remember Ghetto Preacher? It was G Funk Classics vol.1 with a different cover, then Prodical Son came out with the newer stuff after it. People would wind up with 3 discs of the same material lol but in the end G Funk Classics Vol.1 & 2 cover kills any other I've seen

G-Funk classics is the best title for this album. I'll go with disc 1.

On the 1 CD thing.

This original was called G-Funk Classics Vol. 1 (Different cover exist). Eventually Nate made 2 and decided just to combine them.

Disc 1 is better IMO, but then disc 2 had Just Another Day, She's Strange and No Matter Where I Go.

They're just as good as anything on disc 1...except for Bag O'Weed. That track is a personal all time favourite.

Both volumes are st8 classics 8)!

I got the Death Row version of Vol. 1 and I wonder if they have some OG artwork of Vol. 2 in the vault? I mean, it was also supposed to drop on DR as a separate CD called "G-Funk Classics Vol. 2", am I right? I remember reading about it somewhere...

Man I used to bump First We Pray so much when it first came out.  Other than Bag O Weed, Just Another Day, and Nobody does it better, I haven't heard this shit in years, but I think I need to give it a listen.  I forgot all about Hardest Man In Town.
