What happened too him?? I loved his "Re-birht" album, nice Battlecat production, and it even had MixMaster Spade on it...:)
Has he dropped anything since?
-
Good question...
All I know is that he has two albums out "Re-Birth" and "The Recipt" and he is outta Compton and was affiliated with Ice Cube's camp. I don't know whether he's still around.

Yeah my knowledge of him is slim to none too. The last I heard from him was in 1996 on the Killafornia Organization CD, I think that he also did some production (and vocals on one song) on Str8 G's "Shadow of a G" CD, though I think that was in 1995. Also he was on Yo Yo's Make Way for the Motherlode, but that was in 1991. Too bad because I really liked Re-Birth, Where's My Receipt and the solo version of On My Cide.

You said it bro. I have been on a crazy Dazzie Dee kick lately. Bumpin both albums back to back. I wish he would come back out.. but only if BC fucked with his beats. On My Cyde is sick.

Ohyeah, he's rappin on "Pussy Today" and did production on two other songs (Run & Wild Trip).
Did Battlecat produced "Wheres my receipt" as well? I cant find this album anywhere...

I only have the promo version of "Where's My Receipt" but it says all the songs on there are produced by Battlecat. So it doesn't have an insert but that's what it says on the back. There are 5 songs (I think, I'm at work right now) that are on Where's My Receipt that ended up on Re-Birth, and songs like Unda The Table and When a G Meets a G Stress sound different or have more verses.
Just found the Where's My Receipt tracklisting I made from another Dazzie thread:
1.Intro
2.Unda da Table (totally different from Re-Birth Unda da Table)
3.Ain't No Bustas This Way (same as on Re-Birth)
4.Knee Deep (same as on Re-Birth)
5.The Hood is Good-The Ghetto
6.Everybody Wants to be a Gangsta
7.When a G Meets a G-Stress (additional verse than the one on Re-Birth and different music)
8.On My Cide (same as on Re-Birth, with The Chill and Coolio. There also is a solo version that is better on the b-side to the Everybody Wants to be a Gangsta single)
9.What's in a Name?
10. I Remember-Now that I Think About It
11.West Side Hoodsta's
12.Sticcey Situation (same as on Re-Birth)
13.C-Alright
14.Outro-Thanx-Ice Cube Outro
