you could've bought alot of gay porn with that money

48 million is peanuts compared to what obama has already wasted by pursuing the same economic policies as george bush. no worries though, guess who's picking up the tab?
-
what really was a waste of money, was coming to Copenhagen for 5 hours, and most likely make Chicagos chances worse
-
Bush would've done the same
-
Obama is a fucking lying motherfucking gimmick
this is the same nigga who said he'd bring back soldiers from Afghanistan & Iraq within 6 months. Then after he got elected the nigga said after 24 months there would be a partial withdrawal.

um couple of things.
1. Wrong spot, mod please move to Train of Thought.
2. Are you surprised? Olympics = a Gimmicky piece of shit, used to distract a nation from its problems with a huge event.
3. Getting the Olympics is worse, because the game doesn't provide enough revenue to sustain its self. Its actually a Drain on the Country's Economy, because Tourist dollars don't cover that much.
4. The fact this shit became a issue is sad. The country Economic state is getting worse with each day, more people are going homeless, and this Country is dwindling its self into a surreal retardation.

Dude, what the US spends on everything, 48 million is jack shit. The bid was placed long before, when Obama was still running for president, it was mentioned after he won when people said, wouldn't it be ironic if we get the Olympics in 2012, that will be his last year as president... then it was followed by... if his still alive. Plus it was said that the USOC ruined our chances long before Obama got there. There is a huge debate over money, in the US we televise the event from NBC, the International Olympic Committee feels as if we are holding out money from the revenue. So this deal was dead long before Obama was even president and the only reason it got this far was because Obama was pitching it.

stablizing the economy would be to let the chips fall for a while, stop propping everything up. what obama is doing will not stablize anything for long, its just papering over the mess for a while. its exactly the same thing as bush did. you don't correct or 'stabilize' bad policies with the same policies.
