that the Saints were going to be possible Superbowl contenders today, wouldn't you automatically assume that the reason would be;

what a bust he was. :-X
one of my absolute FAVORITE players to watch in college, just a few years ago & now his name stays relevant because of Kim Kardashian. :-X

I unno, i wouldnt say hes that hes a huge bust. He has his moments.

To be honest, alot of these all purpose type players that tear shit up in college, don't translate that in the pros. Bush was never really a amazing runner in between the tackles, USC's line has to take alot of the credit for that. East/West or making it to the corners has always been his strong suit and special teams. Injuries have been a problem for him too but I think it is just you have to game plan for him and find the best plays that you can fit him in.

As D said his problem is he can't run in between the tackles. His speed takes him to the outside always but the D knows that's we're he's always headed. He's all speed and that's it. That's the difference between him and Chris Johnson. Johnson has blazing speed as well but the best thing about him is he knows how to run in between the tackles like a regular good RB.

i understand why he isn't successful in the NFL, but i thought this guy was going to have an awesome career.
& the point being, who would have thought you could have a SUPER hyped running back like that come out flat & still a few years later been discussed Superbowl contenders throughout the league?
i hope the defense stays strong, i like the Saints; they are a good Football team to root for as far as NFC teams go.

really what is even more surprising is they are doing it without Duece McAllister also. Duece was the man before Reggie got there and he has had some MAJOR injuries and they do not miss a beat. But if Bush could ever run inbetween the tackles like how Chris Johnson does as a speed back with some power, look out. Because that is going to set up the play action, screens and flats. Plays Bush excels in.

^i doubt he will ever learn.
i think he has reached his peak. :-X

Something tells me in a couple years he'll be back playing with Leinart, in Arizona. I'm not saying it'll lead to any success but it may sell some tickets from Southern cal fans driving across the state line.
