The LL Cool J piece was fire.  Even the story.

Kid Rock gets major props.  I want to tittyfuck Foxy Brown.

DMX still got mad swag.

Rick Ross has a horrible DJ.

I miss Nate Dogg.  :'(

Ja Rule + Ashanti = magic

my thoughts exactly lol

Great to see LL going way back telling that story.Peace of history right there

Big props to The Roots, every year they put in major work for each VH1 Hip-Hop Honors show. They're simply amazing.Em ripped it, like I've said in the other thread about the LL tribute, he's mastered the old school LL flow to perfection

Big props to Kid Rock too, I had totally forgot he's a crazy ass DJ, plus I really digged his I'm Bad performance!

The Beastie Boys tribute was cool too, I really enjoyed  Regulate, but Trey Songz was kinda meh  :-\

Not a fan of Ja or Ashanti but they did their thing.

Meth and Red were crazy as always, I LOVE seeing them perform.

Scarface and Luda performance was GREAT!!!!

The-Leak and Eazy is pretty on point.

Ashanti looked gorgeous.

In my opinion the show started off solid but I don't know what happened.

I was waiting really for DMX, but the rock fucked up his performance. Sorry I ain't a rock fan with all the guitars and shit. And this show was wayyy to rock influenced for me.

The whole LL thang was the best of the show.

Luda and Scarface did the muthafuckin' thang too.

And Mary J. looked good as well.

But yeah I kinda felt sorry for Rick Ross's DJ, terrible, and look where this nigga was at.

the rock influence was there because def jam helped bring the rock influence into hip hop. beastie boys were always rock influence.so the show was not over rock influence. it is was about having life instruments..most groups today have a band .

Yes, I was waiting for this response. Lol.

I understand that, for Rock The Bells, for the Beastie tribute, but DMX? Was wack...to me.

Daaaamn, I wish Nate Dogg was there. Him and Warren peforming "Regulate" wouldve killed it. Trey Songz kinda sucks haha. DJ Jazzy Jeff killed it on the turntables. That was sick!
