Most of its from MTV interviews.
Everything on the Cali Love video set was for MTV's "Week In Rock" for MTV News. The interview with Bill Bellamy with Dre and Pac was for the premier of Cali Love in December '95. The interview with the chick (Tabitha - MTV News reporter), Pac did back in November '95 after being out of jail and on Death Row just for a few weeks.
From what I remember there's nothing new or rare in the movie. QD3 actually got more rare stuff for his movie. Imagine if they would of worked with Gobi and got the good stuff and wouldn't of fucked around splicing Pac's words to make him say shit he didn't.

...and then there's also the footage of Pac (in the North Carolina basketball jersey) with Boot Camp talking about the One Nation project

no doubt the splicing pissed me off i felt like they could've done a better job overall on the movie. what's the QD3 movie all about?

When they did interview Pac and Dre, you can see that they don't really get along if you lookin' at Tupac he looks kinda bored when Dre's talkin and shit like that.

That was late December '95, it was an hour long special for the Cali Love premier. Bill Bellamy interviewed them and played videos and at the end they played the full Cali Love videos back to back, the original and the remix as a whole.
