antwan odom, the bengals DE, tore his achillis


poor fella, he had 8 sacks in the first 3 games of the year

always had injury problems in Tennessee. Had no problem letting him go for the $$ Bengals offered him. And he looked like a bust for that$$ until this year; and now of course, the injury problems kick back in. Sucks 'cause he was having a heck of a year.

sounds like John Abraham.  as a JEts guy I alreadyk new he was talented, but he missed too many big games for us.  now he's in Atlanta and hasn't declined yet but still has those injury bugs.


or Vilma...he disapeared in our 3-4 after a great rookie year

^Ya, the injury bug killed him too.

I was shocked to see Odom doing this well. He was a bust in Cinci. before this year as I expected. Only reason a team offered him that kind of $$ is because in Tennessee, he was at his best in a rotation. He would play a handful of plays, and then come off while Travis LaBoy played a handful of plays. Both these guys were at their best with us and with this system because they both had health issues, and this allowed them to rest and come back on the field re-energized. Then Cinci. & Arizona signed them away for big $$ and tried to keep them on the field all the time; not gonna' work lol.

you already know some Laker fans started crying when they saw the title. ;D

but that sucks, although i don't think their record really reflects the team they truly are.

plenty of better teams in the AFC.
