Title: Eastern Conference Favorite (NBA)
Post by: LooN3y on October 22, 2009, 06:22:59 PM
to me it gotta be the magics, they got too much depth to not be the favorites. besides the obvious they got brandon bass, jason williams, matt barnes, their way deep, much deeper than celtics and cavs imo.

1-IT'S THE MAGIC, NOT MAGICS

2-the celtics are the best

The Magic had an underrated off-season......they upgraded big time at SG by getting v.carter.....they also got m.barnes..he's a 6'8 F who could defend a little.....keeping their back up center was huge, can never have enough 7 footers that can defend..... and b.bass is also good..he attacks the bascket hard and can hit the mid range shot

magic>>>>celtics>>>cavs

i kinda feel like the cavs is lil undermanned compared to the celtics and magic,

celtic and magic line ups have almost all allstars for their starting line up, cavs only have 2 true allstars (lebron and shaq, i dont like to mention mo williams because i feel lik ehe only became an allstar because of lebron, after last post season  when the "were the best team in basketball" sayin motha fucka disappeared, he isnt an all start imo)

I'm gonna say the Celtics but if VC and Howard can work well together that teams gonna be a problem.

na, i'll take Turkoglu any day of the week over VC.

he's old, lost a few steps & that whole teams offense is based on working the ball to Dwight & then kicking it out for the 3 if he doesn't have a shot.

Turk is a better 3 point shooter & he was good at penetrating & pulling up.

if you go to the Finals with a group & you just got beat by the better team, no need to fix it.

yeah because with Turk they never put themselves in a postion to possibly lose a game that required a game winner lol. :P

& with Plant in the thread, let me just say, i think the Raptors are going to have a good year; Bosh & Calderon are the shit & Turk is a great fit.

yea Im excited for the season to start cant wait to see this new look Raps team....The addition of Jarret Jack backing up Jose will be huge, and Antoine Wright will be be help on the defensive end aswell as more shooting from Marco Belineli....Gona be a whole new look team for Toronto this year.

Jrue needs to be big for us with Louis since we lost Andre. :-\

but Young is going to have a good year, i can feel it.

Kapono is going to be clutch for us & you know Elton & AI will lead the way.

i feel confident, for making the playoffs anyway. 8)

the magic BARELY beat a celtics team without KG

and downgrading from HEDO to VC is not a good move

of course, but i just really dont see an undermanned cavs team beating the celtics or orlando. (under manned as in talent wise)

rondo or nelson> williams
ray allen or vince carter > delonte west
howard or sheed> shaq
garnett or lewis> varerjo

besides lebron, celtics and magic are just a better team.

well the Cavs are more built for post season play

when you slow the tempo down

yeah, but LeBron can takeover & change a game no matter who he is playing.

& yeah, i can see Allen, KG or Sheed getting injured a month or two into the season; if they stay fit though, they're good.
