Half these fools comin out of LA get they music fromthe Bay. Its only a few LA engineers/dj's like Battlecat and Dre. It's all gravy,though, but they kill me when they try and get beats from some of these engineers from LA (Riverside, yall know who I'm talkin about) and the beats be RIDICULOUS!!! I refuse to buy anything that doesn't knock. Fools may not like the way cats outhere (Northern Cali) flow, but they respect the sound. WHen people like C-Bo was gettin his music done exclusively out here it had that C-Bo sound but it was also KNOCKIN!
Cats like Dj Sham in the Bay, B.J., K-Lou all are known for producing bomb as beats (Too Shorts dope fiends beat was simplke but went straight to the trunk because it made you head nod and ya nuts hang)

I went to a party at the glass cat last month (S.F.) and it was a record pool party. Hella record poolks and Dj.s were there. 94.9 was there. It was cool. You k now how they give out free shit and upcoming records as promos..... man.... that music was ridiculous. It was a couple of cool ones out there, but they had some weak ass shit. WHy do they even ask us to buy weak shit.
They done forget how to put fuc@in bass in they music and they want a nig to drop damn neart 19 grits on some ol boolshit.
I'm regulatin these clowns. We need to start namin they weak ass and protest. Go on strike and shit. If they wont put more bass in these songs and give us somethin we can put in the triunk...we shouldn't buy shit. IU shouldn't have to fuack around wwith my eq in the car just to hear some bass.

so u sayin that Fred Wreck beats dont bump?...DJ Quik beats bump like crazy...and ATLs beats?...cmon man...i love the bay...but u cant say that L.A. dont got any bass in their shit...thats a dumbass comment...DJ Fingaz got the knock...DJ U-Neek got bump...theres tons more man...so chill with that shit...the only person who comes to mind who dont got alot of bass in their beats is Hollis...but thats it....

i kinda agree wit you, but at the same time i got luv 4 the LA music. i'm from tha bay, and i'm feelin our shit alot more. but the bay's on more of a independent tip, while a big majority of LA music's comercial. so there is a difference. i aint feelin too many of their producers (although they do have bass in the tracks), cause i like hardcore mobbed out type shit. but i can still feel what you sayin dogg.
