Eat a dick
Lunatic,
that is all ;)
-
22 TDs
33 INTs
-
make that 23 TD's, bitch ;)
15/18, 125 pass yards, 1 TD
10 carries, 32 yards
two 3rd down, run conversions (1 of which lead to a YOUNG TD pass to Washington on the next play)
3rd & 7..Young spins out of a sack, spins around, and fires a bullet OFF HIS BACK FOOT to Kenny Britt for a first down; next play goes for a TD.
Make that TWICE that he picked up a miracle-like 3rd down that lead to a TD on the next drive.
Translation: Eat a dick

dude
your team is 1-6....you just played the JAguars
lets not be talkin' a bunch of shit hurrr like ya'll are 13-3 again :D
congrats on todays game tho!
-
they were bound to win a game.
i bet Collins would of gotten the win today too.

I'm talking shit about Vince Young who is 1-0 this year, and 19-11 in his career and is having an awesome day today.
Fuck 0-6, this is about Vince Young with a clean slate. 1-0.
I am talking so much shit because I HATED nothing more than all the ragging, critics, etc...I took way TOO MUCH to NOT enjoy the FUCK outta today ;D
Chamill: U didn't watch, don't talk shit. Collins had a chance against Jacksonville 4 weeks ago; what happened? We lost 37-17. So Collins put up 17 points against this team, Young put up 30.
Young kept at least 3 drives ALIVE today (2 of which lead to TD's) that Collins would have never done. Don't U dare try taking this away from Young.
-
I hope people are not going to say now that Fisher should have went with Young earlier in the season, but I got a feeling people are.

He should have though lol

it was clear after game 3 or game 4 that kerry collins was NOT the answer to finding a W

maybe they heard Vince was started & took him for a complete joke & he just showed up today.
i know i would of laughed. ;D

Yea, your logic is making lots of sense compared to mine ::)

To anyone not giving Young credit
Well I know it wasn't VY against Jags. Fact is he played much better than Collins has all year in 1 game, and Collins had 6. He picked up a W in his first start, Collins went 0/6. Collins is averaging more than 1 turnover a start, and Young didn't turn it over once in his first start.
His completion percentage was nearly perfect. He completed several 3rd downs (many of which u must give him credit for, nice runs, needle threading passes in the heart of the defense, spinning out of sacks, etc.)..
The defense and run game was phenomenal. But even that goes to some of Young's Play. Before u discredit that, actually read this. Young kept the offense on the field. In the first quarter, I believe we had 13-14 mins of possession. This defense has been so bad this year because it's used to ALWAYS being on the field; 3 and out almost every time with Collins. I don't think we had a single 3 and out all game today. With Young, the offense is fresher, smoother, stays on the field longer (keeping the defense fresh).
Those are all facts.

They'd still be 1-6 if Vince played all year. They're completely brutal pass D in the first previous 5 games is what did them in. They were a complete different team this week and with Collins they still would have won.

I usually agree with u, but not on this 1. I watch us week in, week out. Young keeping the offense on the field was the largest KEY. Collins can't do that, and that contributes to the defensive woes (when your always on the field). In the first quarter, our offense kept the ball for about 13-14 mins; pre-Young, we were last in the league on average time of possession.
Another thing is turnovers. Of course your defense is going to be bad when the offense turns it over as much as Collins as by himself (averaging more than 1 turn over per game). Young didn't turn it over today.
All of this contributes to the poor play and 1-6 start. All things Young made us avoid today.
And the "collins would have won this one" pisses me off the most. He PLAYED THIS TEAM A MONTH AGO AND GOT KILLED. Everything would have been different with Collins in; less points, less 3rd down conversions, more sacks taken, defense on the field longer, less offensive time, etc. That's not assumption. Check his numbers. Collins is NOT going to spin out of a John Henderson sack and run for a first down lol.

They might not have won by as much, but you add 150 yards and 2TDs to Chris Johnson's numbers and they might have won that game too. Collins didn't play all that bad that week. He had 2 INTs sure but the first one was insignificant and the second one came after the game was pretty much a rap and it still lead to no points and just ended up in a punt that lead to a Titan TD drive. And a few of those 3 and outs were because of an ineffective run game.
I get it, you're hyped up because they won. I'm glad they won too. I hope they win more. But I called Vince Young an NFL bust during the game he beat up on USC. I also wondered about Leinart, and thought Cutler would be the best of the bunch. So far I'm right. I've said before Young might end up in a great system and win, but he'll show us in the next few weeks why I called him a bust in the first place. I'm sorry, but I can't see it happening any other way.
The defenses of San Fran and Buffalo are going to make Young look silly in the next two weeks. They might still beat Buffalo though. That's by far the worst offense in the league, all thanks to an inept o-line and terrible play-calling.

^Ight. I ain't gon' argue. Let's see how he does against Buffalo & SF.

Fair enough. He performs well against my Bills super deep pass D and I'll give him credit. But if my man Jairus Byrd picks a hat-trick off him....

lunatic, you'd probably kill an innocent old nun for Vince to put up stats like ELi Manning or Big Ben

Maybe ;D
Nah, just after a year of being dragged through the mud because he's my favorite player..I can't tell u how many "did he kill himself yet", "did he retire yet", "did he slit his writs on the field". "oh, he's starting Sunday? maybe he'll kill himself on TV" comments I've heard.....making this feel EXTRA GOOD ;D
-
He pretty much did it to himself. He secluded himself from the team and acted like a immature kid. I glad for VY but i mean I think the majority of the ppl hated on him for the way he acted and not the way he performed on the field.

Don't get me wrong, even though he's my favorite player, I never once criticized the benching of him last season one bit. I agreed with it fully. But this year, I think he should have started by week 5.
And as I said those comments get annoying after a while, so to witness yesterday was fuckin' awesome ;D

i always looked at Vince as a "poor man's Vick"
and Vick as a "poor man's Cunningham" lol

I hope you don't have a problem with me hating Vince Young because of the college he went to. I still give him props, he wins. I even thought in 2006 he shoulda got the mvp all by himself. If he never played a down in 2006, the Titans woulda went 0-16. That's how washed up Collins was. I even thought Bud Adams did the right thing by demanding that Young plays finally. Cause Collins is done, should be forced to retire.
And a couple of Titans questions I was always curious about. Why was Volek traded? And do you think its time for Fisher to be gone from coaching the Titans?

And Cunningham a poor man's Tarkenton.
