Title: Chuck Liddell and Punch Drunk

I'm trying to figure out what exactly caused Chuck Liddell voice and speech to change so rapidly over the last several years.

I don't know how to embed so I apologize.

This interview was after Chuck defeated Alistair Overeem in Pride (2003) as you can tell his voice sounds nothing like it does now. The comparison is almost scary.

YouTube - Chuck Liddell talks about getting hit in the crotch and shares a little too much information ..

Now what's confusing me is that during the the time Chuck apparently became "Punch Drunk" didn't come after he lost the title and continued to lose going 1-3.

I think it actually started while he was on his LHW tear.

So I'm wondering is it really "Punch Drunk" or was he into purple kush....????
