this sucks the album is bk 2 bk bangers and itunes didnt promote it very well at all
-
is it a surprise??
-
is it a surprise??
No, because the people involved are useless and don't spend a penny promoting it (treacherous).
-
Well, there was really no promo and it's a digital release.
-
The only promo was the Horseshoe weekly series & a couple of videos they did in which the release date was announced. HSG doesn't have a very big following but I'm sure the album will turn some heads.
-
where did u get those numbers?
But if those numbers are true it was expected.
-
i knew the album would come out, but i decided to spend my money on a dvd that was worth the money. i got both though 8)
-
That's low numbers.
-
Didn't the album just drop on Tuesday? If so, then the official numbers don't come in until next week.
-
Those aren't the numbers and I expect more than that, it's doing pretty good on digital retail sites.
I think they took a big chance putting this album out and I salute them for taking a chance like this. It doesn't matter how much this album sells. They can push this until their next one drops and at least they have something out there.

I hope for them that they don't have to put out another album on that label after this one.

album had no promotion whats so ever.alot of people dont even really know who they are.so its hard to expect a good selling album.but they ae some pretty good rappers. But it takes more then that to sale records now a days.

There not on Treacherous. There signed to COB only.

Correct.
Label: COB , Distributor: INgrooves
However, I think it's important to note that Treacherous is fully supportive of this release as it was recorded in their studio.
-
COB is just a name not a label. Treacherous do all marketing and business for these guys.
-
can someone up a link to wehre i can purchase this??

It's hard to care about digital releases. Cats need to throw up some physical product (even if it's a limited run).

Totally agree.I have never and will never pay for a digital album or song.I want a physcial product, otherwise ill just dl it for free.Joe budden released escape route physical and I went and picked up my copy.

When you buy the album "COB" is the label it was released through.
I'm telling you that they are not actually signed to Treacherous as an act though.

They said they are trying to get something out there, but aren't sure when yet.

It costs a few hundred bucks to print up some cds, cats do it for mixtapes all the time

If broke ass rappers in the 80s could sell tapes out of a trunk, then they should be able to do it now as well.

The problem being, people in general are broke and music is a luxury that we can now get for free due to the internet.Who in their right mind would pay for a luxury item that we can get for free? And no it isnt about the quality of music because theirs just as much shitty music in the past as their is now.Sometimes people just cant afford the music. Its a reflection of the economy.

Like I said, COB is just a name. Not even Crooked I is signed to Treacherous, but they handle this release. Ingroves is just the distributor. COB Records don't have any staff/offices, it's all run out of Treacherous. Think what you want boss.
