Hey guys copy/paste this paragraph all over...I just wanted to let you know that a new 2Pac street album entitled "Love & War" is coming out Decemeber 15, 2009! Tell your friends, and pass this promo type on. I've actually been privellaged to hear most of the album and it's straight up amazing! This is not another bland remix album, this is a carefully crafted album consisting of songs that are rechristened with new music designed to re-ignite Pac's messages in current times. The producer behind the album, Axi Learz, did a top-notch job in producing heavy ammunition for 2Pac's firepower lyrics. Check out www.axilearz.com for more info (particulary the For the Fans: Love & War link) and to keep up to date when the album will be posted.
Axi Learz has a street team to promote his album--if you want to get in on this grassroots movement
and be one the first to get the album let me know!
This tribute to 2Pac, "Love & War", is going to be epic.
Check out what people have to say about the album:

2Pac street album or a tribute album?
and seriously, who gives a fuck what "other people have to say about the album"????
What they are gonna promote someone that didn't like it?
My thoughts - post samples of the tracks or don't post anything.

The cover looks like the type of thing the kids in grade school that got beat up used to draw. Poor drawings of 2pac in the realm of dungeons & dragons and uncomfortable people at a strip mall saying your name are both exceedingly stupid.

LMAO yea

I'm fairly sure you need Afeni's approval to sell a 2Pac album, unless its free.
btw, very dope instrumental, but totally wrong type of lyrics to put on it. You should've put some introspective lyrics instead of "How do you want it"
-
tupac is still alive
-
At first listen I suspected an over-hyped mixtape. The mix of How Do U Want it is OK, the most intriguing part is the 'new singing hook', which shows more effort or attempted effort has been made than just a typical mixtape we see already, so hopefully the rest of the album reflects this
Amaru will probably block it unless it has Soulja Boy and Yung Berg all over it. Pacs Life was a mixtape, and the funny thing is, based on that preview song, this may be an improvement on that
-
the song sounds like a funeral dirge. find a new way to make a buck. you suck at this.
-
This Afeni approved or is street album another word for bootleg?
-
Afeni wouldnt approve this. Its making Pac look like Jesus. Not cool.
-
I like that single, but then again I like orchestral beats alot so... is that how the rest of the album is gonna sound im assuming?

Personal Statement from Axi Learz:
"Interesting to know that there is so much hate and animosity towards an album they haven't even heard! If people only knew that a lot of care and time was dedicated to this project to provide the most bumping, musically pleasing Pac remix album, they'd at least give it a listen before commenting.
For those who are interested, I hope you enjoy this album, it was a blast creating it...this street album is just me paying respects to a legend, to my favorite musician of all time. I thought I'd take some time out and do something fun. This is my one and only Pac album...hope yall like it!
*regarding the video trailer: sorry that the quality isn't Spielberg or Michael Bay ( I guess 50 set the standard)...but on the real, these are genuine strangers that liked the album...everyday people in raw video form. So that's it take it how yall want too...just know this is a free album that will be up on this site Dec.15...and I I invite you to listen
to it! Thanks, Axi"

Oh so its free? In that case props. I didn't think it was that bad. Sounded dope to me, just the lyrical content seems out of place with the instrumental.

Forreal I don't know what people expect when they post their music on random forums. And this forum is the worst of the bunch.

Honestly who cares. The song that was provided was off bar and overall a piece of crap. This guy likely was going to sell this before the reaction or at the very least use it to promote himself for something else. Otherwise, why the "street team" for a stupid mixtape and a website with his name plastered all over it? Funny how free was omitted from the original post. As for the trailer, I seriously doubt that those people had ever heard of this dude or listened to the album. Most likely a camera was shoved in their face and they were asked to say whatever they said. Most of them look mildly shocked and embarrassed to be saying that crap. Post your silly mixtape on the 15th, likely under 10 people will even give a damn, and we can all move on from amateur hour.

just some dick riders wont some new Pac....new remixes over over over and over again..why i wonna hear same trac on new beat(s) 100000000000000000000000 times,no thanx...he's be commercial raper at that time, that time is past, got 10000 beter mcs than Pac...move on

I know. because who would have thought that the video for 'Wonder If Heaven Got a Ghetto' would have been approved, the song 'Black Jesus', and the clean up of his image to make him look more angelic lol. If anything that's been one of Afeni's wishes

No need to go on the defensive, had you have explained exactly what it was from the beginning u wouldn't have got all the genuine questions that were asked.
don't be mad at the 'Pac fans who have every right to question when for last 10+ years they have had to put up with garbage remix albums, dodgy sites selling 'Pac material etc
now that u have cleared up that it is a free, fan made remix album that has had effort put into, people know! wasn't feeling the "1st single" but it wasn't bad either. looking forward to hearing the whole album when it drops.
-
Lol, that's my bad on the wording then
yes...it will be a free 2Pac remix album...and he planned it to be free from day one, lol!
There are a few other songs available on myspace.com/axilearz

Thought I'd copy/paste this for yall that are interested:

Back story to "Love & War"
Written by Axi Learz
If you're like me you like to know the back stories to projects and I thought I'd give
a sense of where I'm coming from with this album:
The Cover:
The cover is a medley of Renaissance influences. 2Pac sits on the throne while the others below him seek his attention. These people represent the media, the public, and others. The man with the dagger is like the media out take him down. The woman offering Pac a drink is like a groupie looking for "love." The man to the right, a General of sorts, is his crew riding with him, whenever, wherever.
The Songs:
There are over forty Pac accapellas available. The hope was to create something that unites all the songs into one complete album. As if Pac hit the studio creating rhymes strategically for this album. Did it work? You decide. The album is a balance between hard dished rhymes ("War Gamez") to heartfelt lyrics ("Happy Home") to what's up baby ("What'z Ya Phone #).
The Album Title:
Just as with the song selections, the title represents that duality of Pac: that love for his family and fans to his war against his enemies.

The cover concept is top notch 8)
-
Happy Home = Off-beat, and beat is too mystic-like for the song. Horrible remix
What's Ya Phone Number = Flows well, Good instruments used. Great remix IMO
How Do U Want It = Beat isn't magnificent or anything special, but the hook is quite catchy and good to see extra work on the hook
My opinion, scrap that Happy Home mix, it's awful, but the What's Ya Phone Number is top notch
