A Detroit-area rapper who plays a bit part in Eminem (news - web sites)'s blockbuster debut movie was shot on 8 Mile Road in Detroit, the street that gave the film its name, authorities said.
An unidentified assailant shot 26-year-old Ali Miyzaan in the stomach outside Detroit's Phoenix Theatre after he dropped in for the premiere of "8 Mile" Nov. 9, police spokesman Glen Woods said.
