BEREA, Ohio (AP) -- If LeBron James truly believes he can help the Cleveland Browns, coach Eric Mangini has an orange helmet waiting for him.
"I think he should come on down," Mangini said.
The NBA superstar, who was an All-State wide receiver in high school, said Tuesday night that if he put the time and commitment into it, he could be a good football player. Mangini agreed, calling James "a freak athletically" and said the 6-foot-8, 260-pounder could be dangerous at tight end, wide receiver or even outside linebacker.
i want to see this guy make a great legacy for himself in the NBA, but i'd love to see him play a season in the NFL.
i mean he wants to pay homage to MJ; MJ left, LeBron might as well do the same. :P

I want the NBA to go on strike for about 2 years. Seriously though the nba and their bullshit fouls are ruining basketball. You go to a gym, you got everybody playing like a fucking pussy now. The blacktop is where it's at

LOL, Mangini is willing to get help from anyone, but all joking aside I'd be interested to see what is capable of at that level.

i hear you.
these motherfuckers are trained to just drive & act like they got raped.
NO BLOOD, NO FOUL!

I'd love to see it, but this isn't baseball. He could end up seriously hurt and then end up really hurting his NBA career afterwards. But if he does make it and even scores one TD he's the biggest athlete in the country by a landslide after that.
-
I can see it happening if there is a lockout. There's no way LeBron is going to stay out of the spotlight for an entire season due to a lockout, he's gonna do something and that just might be it. But if there ain't no lockout I can't see him wasting a year in his prime just to do the dangerous experiment of playing in the NFL.

if brock lesnar couldnt make it in the NFL, lebron aint

he would also be an awesome heavyweight champion

Lesnar was with in a coin flip of making that team and if he did it make he'd have ended up a starter.
-
i heard Lesnar got into a fight with somebody while trying out for the Vikings; don't know if that's true though.
& anyone who is 6'8'', 250 pounds with an insane vertical, as long as they can catch; they can be amazing.

Exactly. I can't imagine a single defender every being able to stop a 3rd and short high pass to Lebron.

i can see them just trying to injure him n fuck him over. i can see this going like jordan and baseball...

he probably knows LeBron would be good & can't admit that somebody who hasn't touched a Football since high-school is probably better than him lol.
