His first album was classic but I felt his second album was pretty weak, only cared for a handfull of songs. And then there was x was dope as was the great depression.Grand champ was good but had a few chinks in the armour and year of the dog was trash

The album is an unapriciated classic, completely origional for the time.

That verse he spits on the last track with the lox is one of my all time favs.

"Dont come at me with no bullshit use caution
because when i wet shit i dead shit like abortions
for bigger portions of exstortions and rackerterrin
fuck what you heard its what you hearin"

"a positive i.d is impossible so jon doe is wot they puttin on that tag on ur toe
whos gunna tell ya mother
her babys under a cover
in the morge, stiff as a log
sniffed out by the dog"

This is a classic off what was a classic album. However Slippin remains my favourite DMX song.

One of the illest intros of all time. Get drunk as fuck, bump this so loud your ears bleed and bang your head through the bathroom door

What i don't get about the Damien trilogy is is he playing himself and is talking to his soul in some parts or is he playing his soul and talking to himself in real life? and what does TP stand for? "The Prophet"?

After its dark and hell is hot it was nothing but down hill for DMX, flesh of my flesh is pretty good though.

Didn't really like this album that much back in 98 when it came out.  But now the shit sounds fucking classic compared to what's out today.
