Title: royce 5 9 - murder.... - nice storytelling
Post by: D1G1T4L on November 20, 2009, 03:43:34 PM
this song is tight storytelling but I don't comprehend what happens at the end... Can someone elaborate on what really happened to the cousin? The guy he picked up was a cop? what happens when he falls asleep in the hotel?

if you listen to that song, it's the one before "Murder" on the album.

it's the aftermath of what happened; you'll notice the start of the song i posted is the the end of "Murder".

it's an AMAZING two song story.

anyway, what i got from "Murder" is that they people they were going to shoot were undercover cops or something.

then his cousin got caught there & he cut a deal to give up Royce to go free; that's why he calls Royce & tells him to meet him at his crib & then Royce throws the phone out the window.

but there is a chance his cousin set him up from the start, because why were the people they were shooting undercovers?

amazing songs. 8)

^maybe after you listen to "On The Run" you say to yourself, "well that was a nice story" & then you hear how it all started on the next song & it's just so ill lol.

i know he didn't do it by accident.
