the classic cliche line is "your too young to know about this and that" or "your generation wasn't..." or some other classic cliche line. how about we just dont give a fuck... hasn't any1 taken that into consideration? it's like once the older heads realized that ppl aren't on Rakim or Ice Cube like the older headz are all of a sudden we're talking outta r ass or don't know shit. that shit blows me, maybe we just dont like it and aren't trying to or better yet we probably don't care to know about it (which im sure MOST of us r - ppl under 18) and just really don't give a fuck about the old shit no matter how "good" or "classic" y'all think it iz.
luckily for y'all i love the old school (the 90's) and that's literally half of wat i play. maybe ppl just dont care about it like y'all do or feel tha same way about it as y'all do, but no1 takes that n2 consideration, it's nothing but bitching and Grandpa talk (R.eally.K.A going in 1 ear and out the other). it's time 4 ppl to except that and stop making reference to it bcuz it won't change anything, if it was to it would've a long time ago. i just pray in 2010 ppl will stop using their seniority as a crutch, i mean everytime an older rapper just an album it gets nothing but hate and mixed reviews, but u never hear that coming from us unless they work for a major company (ahh.com) and they have no choice but to always pay homage and represent the class of 88'.
everybody i know knows about the greats/legends but the music sounds wack to them *most of the shit we call classic, west or east coast*, i can't c what makes them wrong and y'all right. it's not like there's a medium in Hip Hop besides the genre being based on Hip Hop (i think that's fair enough).

In a few years you will realize that you were indeed too young to know shit about shit.

this guy has GOT to be at MOST 16
-
I used to say the same shit when I was 13..
-
lol...how old are you really? You say you're under 18 in this post, your profile says 20, but you act like you're 14 at the most.

Everyone goes through this phase. I never thought I would grow any wiser and I thought knew it all but I have changed so much as a person from 16 to now at 24. Shit I look back and laugh at alot of the stupid things I said and the way I thought. Although I do think that each generation keeps getting more feminized as they get newer. So go listen to the New Boys and imitate thier dance moves. Or go get some flourecent purple skinny jeans and emo ass studded belt with it and walk around like u have swag through the mall.

naw our generation is more bipolar than feminized. both sides of the isle are getting stronger and weaker. stronger as in a sense of gettin' harder and weaker in a sense of accepting gay culture in2 tha mainstream. now those obviously arent my only 2 reasons but yeah. but shit im 20 and i look at shit i did when i was 19 and be like dam wtf! so yeah i totally get that ao i feel u. and 4 tha record u WILL NEVER CATCH ME IN SKINNY JEANS AND BEAUTIFUL COLORED CLOTHES lol i cant go out like that.

dont forget your flannel shirt with your sisters pants, Funniest shit is when you see a dude sporting these standing next to a chick and his but tight jeans are just as tight as hers. drive by your local highschool at 3pm to witness this comedy phenomenon

Well...u cant say the "newer generation" hasnt made their contributions... :-\
-
i hate my generation
-
there's one thing you'll learn..
from about age 15 to 20, you think you know shit but you don't...
and all those people who told you that when you were that age, were right
so don't take it personal and just go with the flow, in a few years you'll look at younger kids and see their stupidity as well
-
the times change with the women, think about it.
10 years ago, it was cool to wear baggy ass clothes.
girls liked that, for whatever reason; hence it caught on.
now women want to see guys in tight fitting clothes & that's what most of us run to.
it's really like, "whatever it takes to get laid" lol.

How come no1 talks about the 60's & 70's like they do about tha 07+'s? it's hypocritical to tha max. what about high top fades. i dont condone skinny jeans and rainbright colored shirts but it ain't like this shit ain't been done b4 100 times over. Hell even MOST of the 80's was about tight ass fittin' clothes like skinnier jeans and tshirts. THERE IS NO DIFFERENCE. i guess it's just something 2 talk about.

actually it is. Not sayin that all "whiteboys" are pussies. But that is kinda the stereotype.

did u just say "to the max"?
But, back to what u were sayin. Skinny jeans for example, look stupid no matter what generation theyre in. But once theyre gone, theyre gone and you can just sit back and laugh at the shit people used to wear. Once some kids decide to bring back a stupid trend, it just looks even more ridiculous. If you saw a group of kids all of a sudden walkin around in Zoot Suits on a regular day youd think they looked fuckin stupid. And Zoot Suits were off the chain.
