just seen this thread on another forum bout gangsta rap being dead and homsexual rappers like drake and wale being the new era of rap. My question is are soft rappers  like drake making it harder for gangsta rappers like nipsey and jay rock to blow up ? It sems like instead of the new west blowing up the soft ass rappers with questionable sexual preference r coming up.The tight jean lame niggaz kep preaching bout rappers like drake an it seem like there on a anti gangsta rap campaign .Will the west coast gangsta rappers ever even get radio play when only soft niggaz get radio play ? what do yall think ?

Its cool to be a gangsta rapper as long as you're NOT from the West Coast. I guess niggas is still scared of us. But look at dudes like Maino blowin up, all he raps about is street shit, guns, and violence. But Jay Rock or Nipsey won't get that same fair chance. The curse of 2Pac lives on.
