X is the most consistant rapper ever.
he is also one of the best; shit sounds dope, can't wait. 8)

X to the muthafucka Z is back! 8)

i wonder who did the beat 8)
"A DJ Fingaz production" might be a hint, lol..
This sounds bangin, hopefully no more Jellyroll on the new album.
I want to hear Xzibit on Khalil, Alchemist, Rockwilder, Thayod, and maybe Komplex beats. 8)

Was recently interning a photo shoot that X was taking part in. He was blasting a lot of new tracks, and what I heard sounded impressive. Expect to hear Khalil on there, and appearances from Ras, Kurupt, and a few others. "Gotta Get 'Em" was among the tracks he played. It sounded somewhat different from the version that leaked; Bigger and grander. My guess is the version at the shoot was the mixed or mastered edit.
It's still a definite work in progress, though, so who knows what songs will make the cut. After hearing the production on Rick Ross' "Usual Suspects," I suggested to someone in his camp that he should lay down a track with The Inkredibles if possible. That would be very interesting.

Jelly roll is underrated as fuck.

Sweet, sounds dope.. that Khalil/Kobe track X did, was dope, but I'm afraid I already played the shit out of it, better add something new to it. 8)

Hurt Locker. Scoop Deville on the beat.
-
Damn X is going in on that joint, 2010 could be a good year for the West if everyone who's meant to drop actually does. Props on the link, good shit

i would like to say that, but going into 2009, everybody said "damn, this could be a great year for the West" & all i can even think of is Quik & Kurupt & that got old fast.
these West artists just don't drop albums. :-\

blaqout is most underrated album of the year
2nd best produced album as well of the year

inverse ep was amazing to me actually too so blaqkout and inverse for 2 most underrated albums
lets face it and stop talking about it...the only chance the westcoast got is detox for it to have a chance to get it back to the top...so lets tell dre to put it out if he cares so much bout the coast

Inverse came out in like January though lol; we basically went 12 months without a West Coast album, besides Blaqout & maybe a few drops from the Bay; i think Yuk & Jacka dropped this year.
but all these New West's; Ya Boy, Bishop, Jay Rock, etc. nothing to show for 2009. :-X

if released in the nineties it would be instant classic because of the line up.
Back then people didn't care about the quality, just th eline up

the most important thing about this year for the west was the death row drops with more to come 8) 8)

true, people settled for shit as long as "their boy" was on it.
the production was impressive, but that's what carried this album the whole way through; Quik isn't much of a rapper & Kurupt was pretty average on this.
but i still do bump Hey Playa, Fuck Y'all & 9 Times Outta 10. 8)

kurupt can still rap better than 80 percent of rappers these days and still has an untouchable flow...quik is still an amazing producer and isnt a bad rapper either....it really could have been a classic its a shame they put it out so quick but i still enjoyed it
now back to quik is an average rapper, i think most of us can agree quiks best album>>>kurupts bes album
-
^not in terms of rapping.
sure, as a whole people might say that; but Kurupt is clearly the better rapper as is 80% of everybody else too lol.

na i dont think quik is that bad of a rapper...back in quiks older days hes a top 10 rapper to me westcoast wise
-
the track sounds crazy 8)
xzibit never lost a step, all his recent features (bishop, b-real) and that track on the x-files movie soundtrack have been pure heat.
-
Good shit X, bring it!!!!
-
Sounds pretty good 8)
-
Beat sounds crazy. It's got that khalil type feel to it (even though it's not Khalil). That's how I imagine various Detox tracks to sound like but aye if I'll take an Xzibit album like that too.
I like that everyone agree X is dope.

Definitely a kinda vibe that I would expect on some Detox stuff too, this goes real hard though. Detox would really have to be something crazy ;D
-
Dope track.
Scoop Deville been makin some nice tracks lately.
speaking of Khalil. I expect him to be all over Xzibits new album. Well he should be 8)
-
if Scoop Deville handled this beat by himself then I'm impressed. that's a monstrous clap and some other mad sounds. i didn't like the track he did for bishop, but that snoop one was a lot better. and this is even tighter.
-
8) 8)
-
in my opinion the bishop track depended too much on the sample

don't really add snippets to my playlist but 8)
