NFL teams now have new, stricter instructions for when players should be allowed to return to games or practices after head injuries, guidelines that go into effect this week.
In the latest step by the league to address a hot-button issue, commissioner Roger Goodell sent a memo to the 32 clubs Wednesday saying a player who gets a concussion should not return to action on the same day if he shows certain symptoms.
could raise some arguements; i mean define me "showing symptoms".
also, players holding it in & not admitting to injury.

concussions aint no joke. toughing it out when your knee if killing you is one thing. playing with a broken bone, whatever. but risking it when it comes to your brain is pointless. there are too many things that can go wrong to treat it like a minor injury or something that you can play through.
i understand wanting to tough it out but is one game worth all the bad shit that can happen? naa. thats just my way of thinking tho....and i dont have as much to lose as these guys.
