Lookin forward to hearin this, i just hope Muggs is doin most of the production.
-
hell yea, fuckin legends
-
From what i last read, Muggs said B-Real decided to call shots on the musical direction of 'Rise Up' and he would only throw in 1 or 2 beats for old times sake.
That aint a Cypress Hill album, that's just trying to live off the name.
But that was a while back, so maybe after fucking up most of his solo album B-Real will let Muggs handle the bulk of production.
B-Real rapping in a squeaky voice.
Sen-Dog on the echoes.
Muggs on the decks.
Plenty of smoke.
That's the real Cypress Hill.
-
I remember readin somethin like that too, i hope B-Real ain't doin' beats on it though.
-
if it aint produced by muggs I dont consider it a cypress hill track. its simply B-REAL feat. sen dogg. i cant wait for album.
-
Muggs said in a recent interview that he will probably end up doing at least half of the album. They have a Premo beat, possibly Pete Rock, Tom Morello and the rest Soul Assassins (Alchemist, Khalil, etc)

I don't know i really don't want to give B-Real a chance as a producer.
-
Production of the album should be handled by DJ Muggs, Fredwreck, The Alchemist and maybe DJ Khalil. I haven't heard a good beat from B-Real yet.
-
Rise Up sounds kinda weak for a cypress album they should name it something dark or at least call it the spliffted stories of dr greenthumb and capitan pinga loca.

I hope Muggs breaks out the SP-1200 to produce the album with samples again... pray he doesn't do keyboard beats... I'd be happy with the kind of beats he used for that collab album with GZA, at least they sounded dirty and raw
And also would be dope to hear B-Real go back to his funky sing-song flow... he's been getting more rhymey like a Kool G Rap sort of flow over the years, but his more melodic and simple flow is better in my opinion
