If we all want rappers like nipsey, jay rock G.malone and all other new west rappers to blow up we hve to support them. When they drop singles we need to start calling radio stations and requesting the songs and also voting for them on 106 & park. I have a feeling that drake fans aint gon call and request some gangsta music so we gotta do it. I usually never call radio stations or vote on 106 but if we want results we gotta play our part. I feel like nipsey and jay rocks videos could of blown up more if fan voted more. Most real niggaz like myself dont request or vote for videos and that might be why no hood music gets played. think about it

How can we support a "movement" that don't exist?! You talkin' about NEW WEST - well, where are those guys? Where's the buzz? Where are the albums?
All these dudes do is CONSTANTLY DELAYING their stuff.. Look at some of these dudes:
Crooked I - no album since 97
Clyde Carson - he's been droping his debut album since early 07
Glasses Malone - same thing as above
Jay Rock - same thing as above
Lil' Eazy - dude just str8 dissapeared..
Bishop Lamont - c'mon, how many of y'all still believe that he's going to drop his Aftermath LP?
That's just a few.. and don't get me wrong - I think they are very talented individuals but c'mon, how long you can wait for a fuckin' album to drop?! These dudes don't have no fuckin' strategy - they drop a single with video, create a buzz and then just let this shit die by not dropping anything! Look at Glasses Malone - dude got like a milion release dates and he still didn't drop his fuckin' album! It was supposed to drop in November 07, now is January 2010 - shit just str8 PATHETIC..!

I co-sign this topic, but let's be real. It doesn't matter how many people call and request a song, the radio and television networks control what gets played. If they don't want it, they don't want it. This has been proven time and time again.

People seem to be holding on to something thats been over for yearrrrs now. "west coast" music is done. It's just music now. all that west coast east coast crap is from the 90's. It's done. we're going into 2010 in a couple weeks. it's a different sound and where you come from is irrelevant now. Some people just need to make their own sound for people to get heard.
all those people on that list will never get an album out. It'll get leaked or eventually released, but underground.
