i know rondos a PG, but does he have the ability to take over games? if he were the best player on any given team and his team were struggling can he pull off 40 points? 30 points? to win the game? hit clutch shots?

i kno rudy can.

Rudy Gay is clearly better than Rondo lol.

Rondo is cool, but his stats are inflated because of the 3 HOFers surrounding him.

As CC said he's taking advantage of being surrounded by 3 Hoefrs but his decision making has definetely improved this year ... he runs the offense better and better and you can clearly tell that the team has more confidence in him ( an example he has  the ball way more in his hands down the stretch than the previous seasons)

As far as importance in the Celtics system and success , I would put him as the number 3 player , definetely over Ray Ray

he reminds me of a young Gary Payton

if you look at most PG's they don't evolve until age 25 or so

rondo hasn't even got to 25 yet!

chris paul, deron williams (he was good before this season also which he wasnt 25), magic johnson, dwyane wade

i dont consider D-wade a true PG, he's a SG who passes the ball

those other are 3 great examples but look at most

these guys had their first break out seasons:

stockton (25)
payton (25)
nash (26)

etc.

but to me wade is a combo guard, he can play the 1 or 2 easy.

for instance chris paul wouldnt be 2 good on the off guard spot and ray allen wouldnt be good running the offense, but d-wade can do both.
