The Chicago White Sox on Tuesday agreed to acquire outfielder Juan Pierre from the Los Angeles Dodgers for two minor league pitchers to be named later.
The Dodgers will pay about half of the $18.5 million that remains on Pierre’s contract over the next two seasons, and the White Sox’s renovation of their outfield – Jermaine Dye, Scott Podsednik, Dewayne Wise, Brian Anderson out, Alex Rios, Andruw Jones, Pierre in –– appears done. Carlos Quentin remains.
how do the Dodgers fans feel about that?

The trade had to happen, he's a 4th OF in both his actual role on the team and actual production value.

there was no real place for him on the team. we are far better with a 37 year old manny than a current pierre. thats not a knock on him, i like pierre and i hope he does well for the white sox.

Everyone has a really crappy player they like. Pierre was that really crappy player I liked.
-
the players we got for pierre arent all that bad. in fact, theyre better quality than i expected in return! lmao
