Dub sold 25.000 units the first week and is at number # 7 on RAP billboard charts right now (in his 2nd week) ....remember The Shadiest One came in at number # 2 on Billboard Rap charts....that was pretty good...i feel sorry for him, too many slept on his album...he should go indy with IV Life Records or somthing

I knew this would happen. It's all because of horrible promotion. Fuck Def Jam! The only promotion he got was Power 106 radio play. Oh, and don't forget that delay. By the time the album was released, "the Streets" was already getting old. Damnit!

It's easy to blame Def Jam, but let's face it: This album isn't commercial sellable at all, except the hit "The Streets".
The Streets was pretty big too, wasn't it?
If people previewed the album, they would hear one great joint, and a lot of average ones.
There's only 2 catchy beats on the album, and that's the reason why I think W.C. didn't make any new fans with this album.
A "old" black man with braided beard isn't maybe the ultimate posterboy neither, LoL.

No diss to W.C. though, I think he's dope as fuck, but this album wasn't all that.
Neither beatwise, and to a extent lyric-wise.

why puttin Snoop & X on the subject the fact is that  November wasnt a great time for him to release his album and I dont think any non-west coast fans was waiting for this album. Also the fact that he's old and shit the only thing that save him its the c-walking .It was a great album though  but not enuff to be a Def Jam Hit.
