Yea I know we got a WWE thread but this news deserves it's own thread. He is scheduled to appear starting Jan 4th up until Wrestlemania. I haven't watched since the HBK/Taker match at last years Wrestlemania but I will be watching again.
-
I have a feeling they'll have some sort of a midget to come in and 'be' Bret Hart...then the real Hitman will eventually appear.
-
I know Bret is broken down now but a HBK / Bret stare down would be epic.
-
If Bret was physically able and willing to do one more match, I would sell one of my sister's ovaries to be ther elive.

I would buy your sister, doll her up and resell her for a nice profit and get tickets.Bret hart IS wrestling.

how can you be the best at something that is fixed? :P
-
Apparently Bret may wrestle at WrestleMania one more time against Vince.
I guess we'll have to wait and see how his conditioning is.
-
There's no way he's wrestling a competitive match. He had a stroke and his head is still messed up from the concussions.
-
I'll tune in to watch him!
-
I'll tune in to watch him!
That's a given. This is the first Raw I'm looking forward to since the invasion.

Maybe a backyard brawl with Vince, but if it turns into Bret/HBK in a real match I'd be shocked.
-
If the match with Vince does happen, it'll be a street fight so that he doesn't have to take many bumps.
I wouldn't be surprised if its a quick match...as long as the Hitman wins lol.
-
Let's assume he really returns, cause personally I haven't seen any "real" confirmation on the net. Somehow I'm disappointed that he returns after saying he would never work for them but on the other hand I would watch it of course.
I just hope he finally gets the sendoff that he so truely deserves. If he should show up I hope they don't fuck it up.

You know, what if........and I mean a huge fucking WHAT IF........Shane McMahon makes the jump to TNA? It would be the most awesome moment in wrestling history......and possible, since he's done with WWE. That's the only real chance TNA has because Hogan is played out.

i didn't like how he shook hands with HBK.
-
that was a dope ass segment with SHAWN MICHAELS. Ain't watched a RAW in probably 5 years at least.

LOL, that's why Vince is the mother fuckin' man! 8)

I spit out some sunflower seeds while walking the other day in my neighborhood. There's a better chance I end up living in a giant sunflower garden all around me than there is of this Street Fight being worth a damn. The first week of the invasion angle I said they killed it and it's over. Well I'm saying it again now.
-
Long as Bret Hart doesn't really get hit it'll be fine. The match would SUCK overall but would be COOL to see Hart finish Vince with a sharp shooter 8)
-
Hogan vs. Vince was decent. If it can be at that level, then it would be better than nothing, I guess. I understand where a lot of people are coming from, but for nostalgia and drawing reasons, the match would be a success.

If Bret had any real balls the Monday before Mania after 4 months of build up he'd show up live on TNA and finally screw Vince back.

thats what i was thinking... he made amends with those faggots now all he needs to do is go where the real mother fuckers are at

that would be classic, too bad vince doesnt fall for that shit anymore. all wwe wrestlers/employees have a 3 month no compete clause in their contract. meaning that if they quit or get fired, they cannot go to tna for at least 3 months.

Yeah, I know. But all he would have to do is stay out of the US and I guarantee the US will not bother trying to get Canada to extradite Hart for a stupid case like this.
I also wonder if Bret could counter sue using the creative control clause Vince violated with Survivor Series.
-
then they would just go after tna.

TNA didn't sign anything. They aren't responsible for who walks out on contracts. They may not be legally allowed to sign him but they wouldn't have to.
-
Yeah the more I think about it, the more I am disappointed that Bret made amends w/ Shawn and Vince.

im not familiar with those types of laws, but at the very least it would create problems for tna, which they dont need.

They've declared war already. The worst thing that could happen is Vince not acknowledging them. Having him partake in the war would be a blessing. TNA needs to do two things; to present an option to wrestlers in the WWE and upcoming wrestlers that their best chance at becoming stars is with them because they'll be given the freedom and opportunity, and to figure out a way to make people tune in. The first part is up to Hogan and the bookers. The second would be given a huge boost if they are part of Bret screwing Vince back.

Shouldn't you be making a thread on how Sik broke your heart?

I thought Bret Hart was a good one. Hogan seemed like he was there just for the big cheque and so TNA can use his name to talk about their company lol

It was just good to see the Hitman after a long ass time in a WWE ring.

The ratings are in. Raw did a very average 3.6 in households (but had 5 million viewers probably due to old friends getting together to see Bret Hart). Impact did 1.5 household with 2.2 million viewers. Which is huge for them. Spike has to at the very least commit to Monday Night Specials for TNA. But a head to head weekly show would be ideal.

Raw didn't even bother to have Cena in the show. It was an average Raw. The one with Jesse Ventura was a WAY better Raw. Average Raw>>>TNA Special.

LOL. Gee thanks for letting us know that. Except the 1.5 for TNA is a success while the the 3.6 for Raw is a failure.

More details on the ratings:
According to PWInsider.com, this past Monday's edition of RAW drew a final rating of 3.6 and 5.6 million viewers, the same number it did last week. It drew a 3.51 and 5,441,000 viewers for the first hour, and a 3.73 and 5,773,000 viewers for the second.
As noted earlier, TNA Impact did a 1.5 rating, with the two hours against RAW doing a strong 1.3. The show did hours of 1.7, 1.4 and 1.2. TNA was very happy with the numbers, even though it isn't good that they dropped from hour to hour. But that was expected.
http://nodq.com/wwe/264806517.shtml
In WWE's eyes, that was a failure because they were hoping for a higher rating with Bret returning. In comparison though to other Raws', it wasn't too shabby.
As for TNA, it was a good sign. The only thing that seems a little concerning is the decrease from the 2nd hour to the 3rd because of that awesome main event between AJ and Angle. I'm guessing though the Hogan segment probably helped that 2nd hour a lot.
Rumours going around now that TNA might be moved now to Monday nights to go head-to-head with Raw.

Then they need to go live and on the road. The hard part is finding venues that look presentable but aren't too big to show the lack of fans. There won't be any Impact sellouts at a hockey arena any time soon, or ever.
-
TNA had a decent showing on Monday and the ratings show it. Only thing you gotta worry about is audience retention. Can they keep the 1.5 or was that all due to the huge buzz they got Monday?
-
TNA needs to go live every week. thats the only way they can truly compete. all these tapings aint gonna cut it anymore.

They get a 1.5 next Thursday and it'll be unreal. A 1.0 should be considered a success. Less than that will hurt them. Over 1.5 means we got a Monday Night War.
-
i think TNA can do it

There's a WWE threat, I thought this was a Bret v. TNA thread. Well... maybe I'm wrong.
