since I love absolutely EVERYTHING about The Shining and Eyes Wide Shut, Clockwork had me like  :o I've decided to check out some of his other movies like Lolita, Strangelove, Full Metal Jacket and Barry Lyndon. Can you recommend which one I should check out first?

Strangelove is so fucking dope, sellers is the man (the only part about Lolita that I do like), its really dark comedy (and fucking rediculous!) but the directing is so sharp that you cant help but love it

Full metal jacket is just a badass experience, you cant not love that movie

Barry Lyndon is a very good movie, but a bit on the lengthy side, and less 'striking' of the three, very nice visual experience, but id defiantly recommend the above two before this one

2001 is like WHOA, but some find it boring or long (no dialouge at all for like the first hour), but that is defintaly an experience

i also really like "the killing", cool 'heist'/'robbing job' movie, done very nice

'paths of glory' is a nice politics of war movie

i need to see sparticus, im embarrased
