Yes, very close. No later than April I believe. That would be worse case scenario. We're just getting the final things ready.
Huntin' is like a skit. Knoc did his thing on that beat. (Not sound wise) but remember how UGK did some short tracks on their last album? Skits that Bun B & Pimp C had where it was like one verse? That's how "Huntin" is.

If this gets released in stores in like Best Buy I may buy this............................................ depending on quality of coarse

Ahh man, I'm looking forward to the whole project, I already know that Komplex and MG did their thing on production.
Still no time line on the final track list and single? I noticed that Knoc said on Twitter he just finished up the single and a song with Noah Jones.

The time is this. U know I ain't gonna be 1 of them weird executives to my dubcc people lol. I tell the truth.
That is the final track listing posted above with "Gimme the Night" as 1 of the final 2 songs that are late track listing additions. The second track that we'd like to add is something with another certain Treacherous Records artist ;D (figure it out lol).
"Sorry I Left You" is considered the street single and "Gimme the Night" as the lead single. As one can imagine, "Gimme the Night" is a re make of the classic George Benson 1980s track. Knoc did this pure George Benson style, singing the whole record with no rap involved. Also no sample was used, Knoc & Komplex re made it without sampling it, and did a very good job at that. These two songs are supposed to be getting videos shot for them. "Gimme the Night" was just finished literally 2-3 days ago, I haven't even heard the final version yet (I heard the rough over the phone about a month ago).
We're working on a "Sorry I Left You" west coast OG remix with people that fit the concept. I won't give up any names, but we've been in contact/negotiations with just about any major west coast veteran name u can think of that would fit the record. Who gives us verses and who doesn't, that remains to be seen. If it can be worked out, we'd like to include this as a bonus track.
That gives you a pretty good view of where we're at.

a song with Noah Jones.
That's not for KNOCS VILLE or BOOK OF KNOC. Might just use that as an internet leak shortly so stay tuned. It's called "Mash On It" featuring Noah Jones & Jaguar.

Glad U feel like that. Komplex did his thing. 2 MG beats are both dope. Blaqthoven really came through hot with his beat especially!

Cool to see Gangsta Lean on there. I'd like to see Knoc reach out to more overseas producers, because they tend to bring that classic g-funk sound. Could be a cool side project. Anyway, it's cool to see Knoc going solo on most songs, although I hope this won't cause the album to sound monotone.

Well Gangsta Lean produced by DJ AK is all the way in France so that is one overseas producer. Knoc always has worked with global artists - Yama (Spain) is another example. Nah, the album is not monotone at all imo. Knoc has way too many styles, voices and different things he does on songs to ever be monotone.
-
DJ AK is heavily underated. Much better than Komplex for example.
Knoc should do some more tracks with him.
-
snoop and dem big cats need to support him a lil bit....
even a one twitter announcement would help knoc get mo attention ...

I can't wait to hear that song, Knoc's versatility allows him to take his music in so many different directions.
-
i'm hoping for a release without any corny poppy songs on it
-
I expect this to be very good and if it is I'll buy it (if it's an international release).
-
i will buy it when its released and see it ;D ;D ;D until then its next comin soon project :P :P

And that's why the album doesn't need many guests. Knoc can't ever sound monotone or boring. Way too versatile!
-
well he will need great videos to sell his singles. he will need a great single. I am expecting very melodic music with his signature style. I am also looking forward to him dropping.

Diddent you say some months ago there was suposed to be a song whit Nate Dogg on this cd or do i remember wrong?

He's got a song completed with Nate Dogg, but if anything, it's being kept for "Book of Knoc."
Knoc feels sort of uncomfortable using it before he can get a green light from Nate Dogg..he just doesn't want to disrespect anybody.

Guests can make or break an album in my opinion. I think it definitely ruins an album when you know that the artist is perfectly capable of delivering a solid product. On the other hand, if it's an upcoming artist or even someone who isn't as well rounded musically, it can boost the album. We all know about Knoc's accomplishments and talent, so your definitely right that he doesn't need lots of guests to fill gaps on the project.

Exactly. And no guest on this album will be a surprise. 2 One-2 features, Knawledg & Jaguar. And we're working on a few more that would also make a lot of sense in the right spots.

cant wait for this. its just what ive been waiting for all these years.
-
I'm a bit gutted not to see Crooked I, Horseshoe Gang or K-Young on their to be honest but i'm sure its gonna be a good release

Horseshoe Gang & Knoc never made a song I don't think. There is plenty K. Young on "Book Of Knoc". As for Crooked I, will see.
