Stanley Jones is one of the music industry’s most prolific writers, producers, and guitarists. Known worldwide as Stan “The Guitar Man”, he has regularly performed as the lead-guitarist for several of the industry’s greatest icons & legends including T.I., Destiny’s Child, Boyz II Men, The Temptations, LL Cool J, The O’Jays and the list goes on.
Many of you west coast aficionados are undoubtedly familiar with this legendary producer, as he has written, performed and produced on many of the classic albums and songs from a slew of the west coast’s finest. You can find his multi-platinum touch on albums by DJ Quik, Westside Connection, Dr. Dre, Ice Cube, 2Pac, Snoop Dogg, Too $hort and countless others. Surely you remember his appearances on the D.O.C.’s “No One Can Do It Better”, Coolio’s “Gangsta’s Paradise”, Ice Cube’s “Death Certificate”, NWA’s “Straight Out of Compton”, DJ Quik’s “Rhythm-A-Lism” and many, many more classics.
With the release of Concrete Soul, Stan delivers music that feeds the soul with tight production and a sound that is bigger than life. Besides the variety of styles on this album, the focus is the guitar with which the “Guitar Man” uses to paint abstract art musically. This is a must have for your collection!
